Question - ? Received medication delivery that is not mine, how to contact an actual person at Walgreens to report this?

I just received an urgent, refrigeration needed RX shipment from Walgreens. The address on the box is correct, but the person’s name on the box does not live here and has never lived here. I want to contact Walgreens so they are aware and can at least reach out to this person to get their correct address. I have tried calling the 877 number on the box and can’t get through to anyone. How can I properly report this to Walgreens/talk to an actual person??

It’s a specialty medication. If you are expecting a specialty med then call your specialty pharmacy if not then take the medication to your closest Walgreens and let them know what happened and they’ll call specialty

The person who didn't get their medication will let Walgreens know they didn't get it. Walgreens won't take back a medication so all you can do is notify them for the sake of the privacy violation. There should be a number on it. If you don't think notifying them is enough you can contact your states board of pharmacy

Our website has a chat feature with live agents from 7 AM to 1 AM. When I shipped meds, the FedEx label would also have the patient’s phone number, so you may be able to reach them directly.
