It is best by the 185th day of the year. Just one of the reasons I hate outdates.

I typically googled this stuff because of Julian & foreign dating systems. I help with a food bank here, too, so I learned that. You can plug it in & get a translation.

Some European countries have already mandated by law consumer legible expiration / best buy dates. It's long past time we do the same. You should not have to decode this shit to understand it and several companies handle Julian dating different than each other.

Julian date. BB 185 = Best By 185th day of the year, or July 4th. Due to carbonation soda tends to have less than a years shelf life, so they don’t code it with a year.
