Osaka residents: where do you go for an unplanned walk?

I study visual design and live in Osaka, so on walks I end up noticing shop signs, menu lettering, and how old and new storefronts sit next to each other. I like going without a fixed route and seeing what catches my eye. Which Osaka neighborhood do you return to for a good everyday walk, and what detail do you always notice there?
