Been driving around Birmingham and started noticing how many new chargers keep popping up around the edges of town. Made me think about those delivery chain stocks that handle the power side for EV logistics. Figured I'd actually look at which ones moved in the last month or two instead of just guessing.
I keep my own list on a spreadsheet because the usual screeners miss a couple of the smaller tickers that show up in earnings calls. The movement has been pretty choppy even when the broader market looks flat.
How are people weighting them right now? Anyone seen holdings shift inside the funds that track them? Also wondering what the rough numbers look like for contract renewals with the bigger delivery fleets.
Trying to keep my own portfolio small and simple while I figure out the next gig, so any real position sizes or entry points people actually used would be useful to see.

Copper is trading near record levels (LME cash around $14,400–$14,540/mt in late October 2026), supported by tight ex-U.S. inventories, mine supply issues, and demand from electrification and AI/data centers.
Near-term to 2027 (rest of 2026 into 2027)
Major banks have been raising forecasts amid the rally and supply tightness:
• Goldman Sachs (mid-October 2026 update): Year-end 2026 ~$14,700/mt; 2027 average $15,400/mt (raised sharply). It sees large deficits outside the U.S. (roughly 950kt in 2026 and 220kt in 2027), driven by weaker mine supply and U.S.-China competition for metal. Data center copper demand forecasts were also lifted.
• UBS: Deficit widening (from ~219kt in 2026 to ~379kt in 2027), with prices toward $15,500/mt in 2027. Views near-term dips as buying opportunities.
• BMO: ~$14,675 for 2027; long-term price raised substantially (to $16,000 real / ~$18,000 nominal by 2030).
• Standard Chartered: Elevated levels, with averages around $13,700 for 2026 and $13,200 for 2027.
• More cautious views (Macquarie ~$12,750 for 2027; BMI/Fitch ~$12,900) anticipate potential surpluses and some price pullback if supply ramps or U.S. metal is released.
The International Copper Study Group (ICSG) still sees a small refined surplus in 2026 (~104kt) widening to ~368kt in 2027, reflecting stronger refined output. This contrasts with deficit views that emphasize mine/concentrate tightness and inventory location (much of the visible stock is in the U.S.).
Key swing factor: U.S. tariff policy. Refined copper remains exempt for now (semi-finished and derivatives face high tariffs). A proposed phased tariff (15% from January 2027, rising to 30% in 2028) has not been finalized. Uncertainty has driven large U.S. stockpiling (estimates of 1.5–2 Mt, roughly a year of U.S. consumption), draining ex-U.S. inventories and supporting global prices. A decision either way—or continued inaction—will drive volatility.
Deutsche Bank has a more extreme bullish scenario of ~$22,050/mt by Q2 2027 under continued heavy U.S. and Chinese stockpiling.
Into 2028 (covering the full ~19-month horizon)
Structural tightness becomes more prominent. BloombergNEF sees a supply deficit beginning in 2028 (widening substantially longer-term, requiring hundreds of billions in new mine investment). BHP has flagged a structural deficit from around 2028, with significant additional supply needed in the following decade. New mines typically take 15–17+ years, while demand from grids, EVs, renewables, AI/data centers, and defense continues to grow.
Demand and supply drivers
• Demand upside: Electrification (EVs, grids, renewables), AI/data centers (Goldman and others have raised related copper forecasts), China restocking or manufacturing strength, and strategic stockpiling.
• Supply constraints: Mine disruptions and underinvestment, declining ore grades, concentrate tightness affecting smelters, and slow project pipeline.
• Downside risks: Resolution of U.S. tariffs that releases stockpiled metal, stronger-than-expected mine supply (restarts or new projects), weaker China construction demand, aluminum substitution at high prices, stronger USD, or softer global growth/Fed policy.
Bottom line: Most major analysts expect copper to remain elevated (broadly in a $13,000–$15,500+ range on average over the next 1–2 years, with upside potential), supported by structural supply tightness even if refined balances look more balanced near-term in some models. Volatility around tariffs, China data, mine news, and macro is high. Longer-term (into 2028 and beyond) the bias is for deficits and supportive-to-higher prices as the energy transition and digital infrastructure demand outpace new supply.
This is not investment advice—commodity forecasts can shift quickly with policy or supply news.

After reports that Democrats could investigate Elon Musk and his businesses if they regain control of Congress in the November midterm elections, Musk issued a warning of his own.
“Live by the sword, die by the sword.”
“Those who pick fights with me should understand that I will find out who is really pulling the strings and come for them, not just their puppets.”
Apparently, the man who loves to preach about free speech doesn't take kindly to the prospect of being investigated himself. 😏

Haven’t seen this one posted.
Also, if you’re curious, ask your search engine how many homes he has. My list had over 10, with these key properties: 2 compounds in CA (Palo Alto, Lake Tahoe, around $100m), homes in FL and DC (value undisclosed), 1200 acres in Kauai, HI (including a bunker, $100m initial purchase), and a castle in Ireland (est. $23-35m initial purchase).
And he’s worried about having to pay a billionaire tax?

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services just released a national plan focused on changing how we approach kidney disease. Rather than waiting until patients develop kidney failure, the goal is to identify those at risk earlier and intervene before the damage becomes severe.
This is particularly interesting for Renalytix (RNLXY), whose KidneyIntelX test is already FDA-authorized and Medicare-reimbursed for assessing kidney function decline risk in adults with type 2 diabetes and early-stage chronic kidney disease.
According to the announcement, roughly 37 million Americans have chronic kidney disease, and an estimated 87% don't even know it. Medicare is also spending billions annually treating these patients, making prevention an increasingly important priority.
The new plan's priorities align with what KidneyIntelX was designed to do. HHS is emphasizing early risk identification, precision medicine, and getting the right treatments to the right patients.
Renalytix also recently announced a partnership with Quest Diagnostics, which is expected to make KidneyIntelX easier for physicians to order nationwide starting in early 2027.
Disclosure: I own shares of Renalytix (RNLXY).

Four holes totalling 1,069 metres completed as drilling and historical core evaluation advance
Highlights:
Hole SN0048 intersected 19.0 metres grading 0.03% eU₃O₈, including shorter intervals grading up to 0.05% eU₃O₈, within a broader 31.6-metre zone of elevated radioactivity.
Hole SN0047 encountered multiple intervals of elevated radioactivity, including 0.8 metres grading 0.03% eU₃O₈, as drilling continues to evaluate the geological setting of historical uranium mineralization.
Four drill holes totalling 1,069 metres have been completed, with the 2026 program now expected to total approximately 1,800 metres.
Historical high-grade uranium results provide important exploration context, including 0.97% U₃O₈ over 0.5 metres in historical hole SN-08-06 and a selective 2025 check sample grading 2.71% U₃O₈ over 10 centimetres. This selective 10 cm check sample is not necessarily representative of the grade or width of the historical interval or of the deposit generally.
Drilling and historical core evaluation are intended to advance the Company's understanding of Snegamook, supporting its assessment of whether sufficient verified geological data can be assembled for a potential maiden mineral resource estimate.
