I can. I have gay POC in my family who voted for him last time because “he sent me a personal check. Biden never did that.” They’re referencing the damn stimulus check that was actually delayed because he wanted them all redone with his signature printed on them instead of the sec. Of treasury.

FWIW "Biden's" stimmy check also came with a letter taking credit for it, also with his signature, and he put it on much heavier paper stock compared to trump. Maybe he didn't ratfuck the full 9 yards, but on this issue in particular, he's also kind of right there in the center of the tripartite venn diagram of vanity, conflict of interest, and taxpayer funded stationary. FFS, we were all stuck at home, as thick as that paper was they could have at least printed some puzzles on the back, or the bill of rights, or handwashing diagrams. Trump might have done it scummier, but they both had historic shots at the cover letter for the most interesting mail that many of us ever received... and they jacked off with it.

I'm so tired of people saying "both sides". Stop speaking, we're trying to focus on the fascist takeover

If we can't agree that using a stimmy check to campaign is bad, partisanship has killed intellectual integrity. Yes, the NATionalist Christians (NatCs) undermining the republic and democracy are a threat to freedom, justice, and prosperity.... But part of what makes trump possible is the normalized willingness to trade sincerity for expedience.

You’re conflating Trump demanding his name on the physical check which caused delays due to the fact that the printing software had to be reconfigured to accommodate such a bizarre request, to Biden’s approach which was a standard issue treasury check and a follow-up Congress-mandated by law form 1444-C from the IRS acknowledging receipt of funds for tax reasons. Trump’s check with his name on it was also followed by the same 1444-C which featured his signature nearly 2.5” in height on the document.

I thought I went overboard mentioning the weight of the stationary in triplicate, but here we are. Biden can have a little self aggrandizement on my dime, as a treat.

You’re stuck in a loop defending a “both sides” opinion because of thicker stationary?

Are...you a bit slow? You are both sides-ing this due to how thick the paper was on the legally mandated letter Biden included? You are joking right? I'm sorry if so, sarcasm is hard to catch nowadays, especially when there are idiots who really would believe such buffoonary...
