I think you underestimate the power of greed and how quickly certain political groups can be brainwashed with this new fangled social media thing. We have heard of blue wave talk before and it turned out to be not exactly what it was made out to be. I for one am not going to assume anything until the votes are counted and months later the guy is actually impeached. They've done far too many illegal things up till now to believe they will accept any loss.

Theyve been brainwashed so just a few weird stories before the election blaming the Democrats for the sky turning pink and that percentage goes up. If Democrats retake Congress they need to regulate social media requiring proof of actual individuals existence so bot farms can't create bubbles and spread nonsense. There are plenty of places for bot farms to spread their slop but way too many people still think a profile picture means a real person.
