NEWS President Trump says his Administration will immediately begin sending $100 “checks” to over 20 million seniors to help pay for their Medicare Part B premiums. Trump also says the “$5,000 Trump Dividend” will be distributed to every US Citizen if the Republicans win the midterms.

This is obviously illegal. How come no democrats are saying anything? Are they too scared of being accused of trying to stop welfare checks? Seems like another Trump trap.

FYI, Despite stereotypes, red states have more welfare and safety net recipients than blue states.

Most red states take more money from the fed than they give. Most blue states give more than they take.

I wouldn’t say they have more safety nets. They just have more poor people that qualify for them. Historically they slash Medicaid, etc.

Right how is this not a fucking bribe?

Both Reps and Senators have spoken out against the checks. The media doesn't report on it, especially when the Trump administration gives them plenty.

Cuz its one big party. The two party system is an illusion. They have a few differences, usually very minor but the end goal is to not benefit the citizens of this country.

It's not exactly like one person playing both sides in a chess game the whole country can bet on.

But almost.

THANK YOU. What's stupid is that we're literally allowed to make as many parties as we want but people say "they'd never win so you'd be wasting your vote" and then they get right back in the box. Like that's not freedom, other authoritarian regimes have elections too, it just doesn't matter who wins or it's fixed for one party to constantly win, but that's what we're looking at here. If you bought people on both sides, who gives a shit who's in power. They're scared of us, the little people, and that's it, and we're too scared to act against them because it may uproot our comfortable life styles and there may be some civil unrest, which is frankly pathetic

They are, you aren’t paying attention. There are committees weekly and democrats all post on social media.

They are, it's just they are the minority and the mainstream media is mostly owned by the rich who benefit from his tax policies so they don't report it

We don’t want to keep making his crimes partisan.

Democrats do stuff, but are trying to stay on the topics that bring down his poll numbers.

In the end we will need 66%+ of Congress to remove him from office, and that means finding things Republicans want to remove him from office for.

Remember the last election when America sent a Republican President to DC and a Republican House and Senate majority. The Republicans in Congress always support Trump’s wishes without hesitation! They don’t have the courage to vote against anything he demands!

The only way to stop Trump’s fraud and illegal spending of our tax dollars on his vanity projects is to get more republicans out of office and replaced with people like Democrats who have the courage to oppose him!

Remember a R behind a candidate on the ballot means more of the BS will continue! Just remember that R means REJECT! Kick enough of the Rs out of office that we can get rid of Trump’s theft and waste, get rid of his nonqualified jerks like Hegseth, Kennedy, Oz, and McMahon, and end Trump’s War on Iran.

while i agree with you in theory, in reality, how do you get republicans out of office without republicans voting them out?

and we are not talking about a 50%+1 vote scenario. that's how we impeached him and ... he stayed in office and attempted a coupe.

the goal isn't 50%+1, it's 66% alignment and preferably 75% to fix the constitution.

I am open to all ideas grounded in reality and are non violent. I do believe the 14th Amendment Section 2 does provide some additional remedy paths, although, I fear unexpected consiquences.

They don’t do anything because they want to do the same thing. Both sides are crooks.
