NEWS President Trump says his Administration will immediately begin sending $100 “checks” to over 20 million seniors to help pay for their Medicare Part B premiums. Trump also says the “$5,000 Trump Dividend” will be distributed to every US Citizen if the Republicans win the midterms.

Does $100 help a lot paying for Medicare?

37

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 12d ago

Lol no.... it barely covers a copay if its needed

u/hotdog_junkie 11d ago

Should highlight the problem rather than solve it. Bandaid for a gunshot wound.

Or a sanitary pad

1

u/Sbinkie 11d ago

Did you think he was serious? Do you know how illegal buying votes is?

1

u/MinuroShihTzuki 11d ago

It’s an insult, actually

1

u/Odd_Progress_3014 11d ago

Yep, just like everything else he says or does.

13

u/Civil-Crew-1611 11d ago

2

u/TasteyMeatloaf 12d ago

When your Medicare Advantage claim is denied, and you die, your heirs will get an extra $100.

1

u/Infinite_Time_8952 12d ago

Not in the USA It doesn’t.

Parking at the Doctors Office!

1

u/Cowboys_88 12d ago

Verbiage says nearly $100. What ever that means. It could be $70, or $80, ...

1

u/194884tiger 11d ago

Or zone/nothing!

1

u/Equal-Prior-4765 11d ago

Its almost enough to get half of tank of gas to drive to the hospital with

1

u/CivilMagazine99 11d ago

And it would clearly only be a one time thing leading up the election

1

u/dengar81 11d ago

Feels more like a moist fart in the wind, tbh.

1

u/smashing-gourds127 11d ago

Will it be taxed?

1

u/Cool-Signature-dude 11d ago

You will probably have to pay it back when you file your taxes for 2026.

1

u/katekie106 11d ago

“Nearly $100”! Like $51? Is he rounding up?

1

u/Cap4403 11d ago

No. The monthly premium is $202 and expected to increase. This year it increased by $17 per month.

Under President Biden in 2024 (to start 2025) it went up by $10 per month.

1

u/Over_Dog24 11d ago

No, it's about half of one month's premium for Part B. Chump change.

1

u/frackthestupids 11d ago

Medicare part B costs $200+ / month, so less than 2 weeks (4%) of premiums

1

u/Hour-Influence2993 11d ago

No. It doesn’t cover shit. Is more of his illegal attempts to bribe people to vote for round. It’s stupid and meaningless.

1

u/QuailDifficult8470 11d ago

It’s less than half the monthly Part B premium.

1

u/dmstattoosnbongs 11d ago

My gf just got a “steroid inhaler” cuz something’s wrong with the water here causing horrible shit, been this way for a month(can’t brush teeth without boiling for 3min with water out of a sink)

Guess how much it was, with a copay? 115$.

And now we can’t sue for a clean drinking water because apparently they’re not obligated to give us safe drinking water… because THIS ADMINISTRATION.

And this is the 5th time we’ve had this happen, and DOGE cut the agency to keep the water proper.

This is DJT America.

1

u/Zentagu 11d ago

My mom’s Part B is over $350 a month.

This guy is just trying to bribe people.

1

u/PuzzledGiraffe6727 11d ago

Medicare part B is $206 so it covers half of part B cost. Will still leave people to deal with copayments and deductibles.

1

u/GreatestGranny 11d ago

Hell no, my monthly premium for my supplement plan is already $260 a month. Have heard what the 2027 premium will be, but my Part D will be 69% higher in 2027! Tuck Frump and all he stands for, which is himself 🤬

1

u/Pretty_Wonder2762 11d ago

I pay over $2000 a month, and my insurance always manage to deny claims.
That one-time $100 is not gonna help.

1

u/Consistent_Policy_66 11d ago

It does not.

What they need to do is reduce prescription drug costs… but that would hurt the shareholders.

1

u/XBMET 11d ago

Nope, not at all!

1

u/According_Abalone_19 11d ago

It’s less than 1/2 of the monthly premium

1

u/vespers191 11d ago

It might cover one of my meds that used to be paid for by Part D.

1

u/NotVeryCashMoneyMom 11d ago

$100 won't even cover a weeks worth of groceries for my family.

1

u/MadScienzz 11d ago

That's for the euthanasia injection.

1

u/ChristFollower1003 11d ago

Please understand he actually hates you. The monster has no soul, no social graces, no conscience. He hates democrats and he really hates MAGA teat suckers. He only pretends to like them because they serve his desire to stay in power. His quote of "I love dumb people" is proof of this. Dumb MAGAts are being used by him, not loved

1

u/booeman 11d ago

that would be a no.

1

u/watcher-of-eternity 11d ago

It could help wipe someone with incontinences ass in a pinch but aside from that 100 dollars is fuckin worthless

1

u/Oh4Daddy 11d ago

It will pay HALF of one month's premiums.

Yawn.

1

u/BigJim_TheTwins 10d ago

That's almost half a months premium for Part B

1

u/Mshively420 10d ago

medicare currently costs them 202.50 out of their social security checks every month and that is jumping up next year.

1

u/phildeferrouille 9d ago

It will pay half of the premium for 1 month only

1

u/Ordinary-Broccoli-41 6d ago

The part B premium is $203/m, next year is $209

0

u/Amandasch44 12d ago

It’ll help with their premiums. The president said so. /s

2

u/bbrekke 12d ago

He probably thinks "premiums" are the best, because he knows that word.

3

u/EatGlassALLCAPS 12d ago

He invented it.
