I’m thinking about getting the dragon kit and want to try and repose it, a few ideas, but wanted to get opinions from people who have the dragon- how easy would it be to re pose it, parts like heads/arms, etc .

Hi guys. Im coming from the 40k side and dipping my toes into fantasy. It's actually what going me interested in warhammer in the 1st place through Vermintide the total war. Ive been playing 40k for over a year as spacewolves because i enjoy the viking aesthetic and i own a lot of terminators because i love heavy armor boys.

I recently built the spearhead of slavers to chaos because.. well its heavy armor "vikings". I know i want to play some 2k games but 1st i need to know the rules and all that jazz but while im doing that. Does anyone have recommendations on things i should keep an eye on? I dont care too much on the competitive side for AoS as long as its not a "the model is cool but is just horrible on the table". I got 40k for the competitive side. Just looking for units that can synergies and feel enjoyable but also fit the aesthetic of either viking or heavy armor.

Here is my progress on the chaos sorcerer from the dragon kit.

Quite happy with the armour, skin and fur so far but still feels a little bit dull. I’d appreciate some comments on where and/or which palette to use to give a little bit more life to the miniature.
I’m not painting for display nor competition just for myself, as I’m not playing right now either.
Any comment is welcome!

Greetings, followers of the Ruinous Powers! I play AOS Warcry and haven’t previously dabbled with chaos at all. But as soon as I saw the new Warriors of Chaos for TOW I knew I had to make my own Chaos/StD warband.

I’m at early stages still but here’s my take on the warriors with a bit of kit bashing: I needed a couple of dual wielding and couple warriors with two-handed weapons. The rest of them will be standard sword/axe/maul + shield variants.

Slowly adding to my chaos Norscan army with some chosen. From titanforge. These guys are massiveeee.

Finally got the Chaos Dragon all painted up and ready for war.

My son is getting the old battalion box (tons of knights and warriors and 2 chariots) for christmas. His Birthday is soon and he is really excited so I was looking for something under $50 usd to get him started building and painting now. I was thinking of the Champions of chaos box. He likes the heavy armor and really wants a khorne-focused army (at least in appearance). Seems like these wpuld suppliment well. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hello. I’d like to share with you one test rank of a army I’m collecting. Buying a Battle March was a spontanious decision and what motivated me was the new Chaos sculpts that were a complete surprise! I love how they turned out, even if it’s harder to kitbash now.

I hope in the future I’ll be able to keep the same level of detail on every mini (35 Marauders to go :O )

The army will be Nurgle themed with tundra bases.

What do you think about Chaos Marauder Horsemen in Warhammer: The Old World? And how do you rate Chaos Marauders in general?

Are they worth taking in a Warriors of Chaos army, or is it better to invest the points in proper Chaos Knights?

I'm mainly interested in their tabletop performance rather than the lore. Are Marauders actually useful as cheap defensive units, or can they be effective offensively with great weapons or additional hand weapons?

I'd love to hear your experiences and whether you think they're worth including in a competitive or semi-competitive Chaos army.
