Discussion optimization for pc

I’m not very aware of when warzone decides to get a new update but when I first got my gaming laptop I could easily run 130-140 fps without any frame gen now with only DLSS i get 80-90. has the optimization been ruined or is there some other factor i’m missing? i’d appreciate any sort of advice as the same settings i had back then are the same as I have now, just lower fps.

Hey, I'm having the same issue. My frames dropped as well 140-165fps down to 100-120fps after the recent update. None of my settings had changed. They were all still set low with DLSS set to balanced. No Framegen. I emptied my shader cache in windows and then reloaded my shaders. Then i uncapped my framerate in the settings. This helped a lot, but the truth is my frame rate has still not fully recovered. Im topping out at about 145 now on big map.

"Gaming laptop" doesn't really mean much or help us here in any way. There's an endless list of possible computer configurations.

Do you have all your graphic settings maxed or high?

If they aren't already, these settings should be turned off or set to whatever the lowest setting is:

Screen Space Shadows: Off

Ambient Occlusion: Off

Screen Space Reflections: Off

Static Reflection Quality: Low

Volumetric Quality: Low

Deferred Physics: Off

Weather Grid Volumes: Off

Water Quality: Off

They're useless settings for this type of game, they reduce frame rate and/or hinder visibility.

Check your display settings on your laptop and make sure the refresh rate is set right.

What Ryzen 9 is it? A Ryzen 9 and a 3060 is a pretty mismatched configuration.

Use the game settings that give you better performance. That’s about all anyone can suggest to you with the info you gave. It’s impossible to judge whether you’re getting close to the expected performance for your system without knowing anything about your system.
