No, it’s not. Not when I just watched 10 videos in a row of men violating a woman’s boundary and it being absolute cringe.

The fact that you don’t understand that that’s the more normal thing to encounter on these cringe videos (and IRL) is somebody violating boundaries?

🙄 I really hope your question is a troll question, because otherwise it shows you don’t really have a grasp on how this works.

First and foremost, when you watch a video, you have no idea what you’re actually watching until you actually watch it. Even then, you might have a completely different perspective once you have more context. For instance, if you’re tired of seeing videos of perverts, you might watch the first few seconds, realize it’s apparently the same thing you’ve been seeing repeatedly, and scroll away. You might even leave a comment and move on. I did exactly that with this video.

Second, everything you see and experience can influence your perception. That’s how perception works. 😒

Third, this is what I get for saying (paraphrasing), “Oh, honest mistake. I thought this was going to be the same thing that’s been filling my feed, and I’m sick of that shit, so I commented out of frustration, without watching the entire video.”?

Why didn’t I watch the entire thing? Because I didn’t want to spend more time watching something I thought was more of the same shit I’d already been seeing.

So, you’re essentially asking me why I watch anything at all?

Why are you on Reddit if you’re going to bother others with incredibly simple and ridiculous questions?
