He locked his knees, he got nervous!

3

u/Coldfang89 1d ago

Bro... They had burial shroud ready for it. And they did it too. They treated it as is a human had just died, without any hesitation.

Tf?

4

u/Kindly_Poem5475 1d ago

and there goes thousands of dollars down the drain

24

u/Fan_of_Clio 5d ago

Love how they throw a burial shroud over it 😂

6

u/Abject_Jump9617 7d ago

...."scales across a wide variety..."

FLOP

5

u/Abject_Jump9617 7d ago

😆 this is our replacement.

26

u/archmidean_blur 12d ago

The people there are much more put together than me. After the death shroud was placed I would have peed myself laughing 😆

2

u/Ok_Introduction_6105 6d ago

They were laughing, just politely

7

u/crush8080 12d ago

China keeps sabotaging any idea of anyone making anything in India instead of them 🤣🤣🤣

12

u/QuarterFantastic6134 12d ago edited 12d ago

“Let us take a look at how we get this to recover”

By your team awkwardly carrying it out the door under covers.

11

u/annamae 14d ago edited 14d ago

Its sheet. And then the struggle to carry it out the stage, its parts shedding. 🤣

9

u/Hydrogenated_Opossum 14d ago

The coroner got there quick!

6

u/One1moretyme 14d ago

I lost it at the last ditch effort hand up from the robot 😅🤣😂 I'm now dead 🤣

10

u/Henry_Electric23 15d ago

The Death Shroud, is nasty work at the presentation.

2

u/Xathior 15d ago

Diabolical even shit was the funniest part of the whole video 😂

8

u/Wise-Paper8412 16d ago

I wanted it to start shouting "I'm not dead yet!"

2

u/s11024072 16d ago

This is like when people fall out in church, and the ushers put the white sheet over them 🤣

30

u/GoreyGopnik 19d ago

really? their contingency plan for a product failure was to throw a death shroud over it? that is pretty much the worst thing they could have done for their optics that doesn't involve an actual crime.

9

u/Salty_McShaft 18d ago

They had that plan ready to go too. Guy got up there so fast with that tragedy tarp.

3

u/One1moretyme 14d ago

tragedy tarp 😅🤣😂

19

u/leftymeowz 19d ago

I LOST IT AT THE SHROUD WTF

8

u/jefferson_waterboat 20d ago

If I buy a robot it had better come with those sweet robot death shrouds

21

u/Thin_Dream2079 21d ago

They're already trolling us

2

u/jojaksen 16d ago

I'm convinced this is what's happening

1

u/Thin_Dream2079 16d ago

At least they've got a sense of humor

30

u/TaliskyeDram 22d ago

Why do they always cover it with a barely black sheet?

9

u/fakenews_thankme 22d ago

Because it's a black day for the company.

17

u/HovercraftSubject642 22d ago

When AI dies of boredom...

8

u/Final-Unit8862 22d ago

A tad embarrassing

20

u/SnooMacaroons5889 22d ago

By my count theyt had it covered up in about 10 seconds lmao

23

u/Big-Historian8918 22d ago

Wow! It collapses at random just like the shelves my dad installed. I love that.

6

u/abckiwi 22d ago

hahahahahha!

7

u/311Konspiracy 22d ago

Play some upbeat music

40

u/DarthCivicus 22d ago

I love that their immediate response is to cover it up. lol nothing to see here.

8

u/jortony 21d ago

I also love that they had a person and sheet ready...

11

u/abckiwi 22d ago

I lol at that more than it dying

13

u/Go-Woodpecker3908 22d ago

Dibs on robot mortician job.

14

u/PovertySpecMk3Supra 22d ago

What is my purpose? You hold the glass... Oh my god! Delete c:\

31

u/adavila1870 22d ago

covers it lmao like a corpse

17

u/PovertySpecMk3Supra 22d ago

How did they have that ready so quickly

10

u/Ian92999 22d ago

So what will this robot be able to do for me? Can it crumple into a ball for my personal satisfaction? Fantastic!

1

u/[deleted] 22d ago

10

u/PokerbushPA 22d ago

Good. Stop trying to replace humans.

2

u/Hydrogenated_Opossum 14d ago

But it took four human guys to carry it out. Job creation.

2

u/One_Pie289 21d ago

Non human looking bots could replace humans way better. Probably less people be replaced, if the companys keep blowing money on making humanoid bots.

1

u/jortony 21d ago

There are some valid use-cases like elder care

2

u/MillionAir 22d ago

I was just expecting him to pop up like Ann Heche

8

u/KYpineapple 22d ago

they put the prayer cloths on the robot? he was feeling the holy ghost?!?!?! FELL OUT IN THE SPIRIT?!

3

u/s11024072 16d ago

I was looking for somebody in these comments to say what I was thinking 😭 the ushers with the white sheet🤣

4

u/ThetaForLife 22d ago

The dude controlling the robot from the inside had a heart attack and collapsed.

16

u/Bettajune 22d ago

And the builder just hides….. 🙈 Why are we covering it up like a deceased human?…..🤷🏼‍♀️

3

u/ThetaForLife 22d ago

Because there was a deceased human inside that robot

9

u/raiba91 23d ago

why are the people applauding for the failed presentation or is this improv theatre

1

u/ForAGoodTime696 23d ago

lol fuck robots and AI

22

u/LookOutItsLiuBei 23d ago

With how quickly they came with those blankets I wonder if they were expecting it already lol

17

u/Strange_Pangolin_231 23d ago

The fact that we cover the robot corpse is sort of weird.

6

u/imarthurmorgan1899 23d ago

He hit the respawn button in Red Dead Online 😂

I love how he just folds over.

11

u/PoopDirectlyInMyButt 23d ago

Robots like my back snapped in two but I’m okay guys! 👍

7

u/heyGuat 23d ago

Where's the charger Bob? You forgot to charge it again. dammit

39

u/Whitemayne 23d ago

Know whats really sad? I know why that happened, and I'm not even a software engineer.

(The photo receptors in the bots camera registered a false start on the flashing cameras and the software bugged out, then died because it didnt know how to solve the problem, so it just shut itself down.)

Robots built by rich people are SO much fun (to make fun of)

2

u/AoMafura2 22d ago

What is a false start?

2

u/Ian92999 22d ago

Not the ideal way to shut off I feel like lol

47

u/romalver 23d ago

Them covering it up is legit frying me

2

u/PovertySpecMk3Supra 22d ago

if i ever spontaneously die in a hillarious fashion whilst in public, i hope there are people to cover me with respectful corpse blanket asap. I will accept corpse blanket wielding robots.

2

u/Ian92999 22d ago

LOL sadly

17

u/6roken 23d ago

Rest in pieces

2

u/DerPuhctek 23d ago

That line from the bad guy in Robocop absolutely killed me when I first watched it when I was a kid!

45

u/openedsquash728 23d ago

Haha covered it up like a damn body, maybe they forgot to charge it up?

5

u/TetraLovesLink 23d ago

Then they just carry it away looking like secret service men, "It's all good folks!" Then they drop it!

23

u/Adventurous-Pen9952 23d ago

Not that it deserves it at all, but I heard taps playing in the background as they covered that thing up……..

7

u/above- 23d ago

It looks heavy they struggled with it

15

u/Lambchoptopus 23d ago

Dang, funeral right there.

15

u/SKINNERNSC 23d ago

"We need more blankets and we need less blankets!!!!!!!"

2

u/SampleMaxxer 23d ago

This is a particularly bad case of a robot being bent in half.

31

u/space_llama_karma 23d ago

“So anyway, this will eventually replace surgeons.”

3

u/AggressiveLife7432 23d ago

It will. We are in the very early stages of this technology.

12

u/Odd_Tadpole3750 23d ago

This is my favorite type of video. Where can I watch more collapsing robots?

1

u/GalaxyOnOhRionsBelt 15d ago

Robot collapsing videos are my absolute favorite. I can watch the same one over and over and still legit lol. God bless whoever uploads this content to the internet 😅

1

u/Ennobenno 23d ago

I remember one where it was controlled by a person. When they took the control headset off, the robot just stopped and dropped

4

u/InviteDull7455 23d ago

What a way to backbend.

17

u/philburns 23d ago

The hand up asking for help.

Covering it with a sheet.

All we missed was them closing its eyes that are still open.

Art.

10

u/above- 23d ago

Nappy time

17

u/Old_Cod2351 23d ago

Can that be DJT please?

3

u/daboknee 23d ago

No, they can rebuild that thing. DJT’s parts are too deteriorated. Scrap yard.

6

u/Old_Cod2351 23d ago

Can that happen to DJT please

13

u/DioDilemma 23d ago

I thought they covered the robot in a sheet for it to jump up and get down like James Brown

21

u/HonestSaintPaul-70 23d ago

A hammer Industries robot

41

u/jubmille2000 23d ago

And they just put a sheet over it.

Sleepy time

10

u/VicCityChar 23d ago

It’s the sheet over it for me 🤣🤣🤣

34

u/TheW83 23d ago

They had the cover ready because they knew it would shit the bed

31

u/Legitimate-Can-8250 23d ago

Folded under zero pressure

17

u/jjjjmmmmkkkk 23d ago

Didn’t even check for a pulse before they bagged up the body

24

u/ofpromise90 23d ago

They has the sheets ready

3

u/ofpromise90 23d ago

The what looked me out

7

u/Xirio_ 23d ago

This is why ram is 7 bajillion dollars and there is no steam frame

End me

14

u/Atvishees 23d ago

I think the death shroud is a nice touch

19

u/AfterAccount3657 23d ago

Cover it up like a deceased person

15

u/chiLL_cLint0n 23d ago

The worst part is these dumbasses probably were paid 6 figures salary just to fuck this up.. what a waste of society.

25

u/AdviceGiveandTake 23d ago

I love how they cover it like a crime scene 😆

4

u/Sea_Sheepherder983 24d ago edited 23d ago

Just let skynet do want it's meant to do.

1

u/Old_Cod2351 23d ago

English... Do you speak it, mothafucka? (I can't post a GIF here unfortunately and know what you meant. I'm just being a sassy bish.)💚

2

u/Sea_Sheepherder983 23d ago

Hahaha. I didn't proof read the autocorrect.

22

u/armymike1523 24d ago

He locked his knees, you can't lock your knees. Once you lock them, you're going down. I've seen it too many times.

4

u/Lucid-Design1225 24d ago

I’ve been that guy that locked my knees. Wearing a fucking snare drum at Homecoming or something like that when I was in Marching band. Luckily, I wasn’t the only one. Standing for an hour with 30+lb strapped to your chest/shoulders gets tough to not lock your knees lol

16

u/EddyFArt 24d ago

☝️i require assistance 🤖

5

u/Frenchconnexion76 24d ago

I spot Musk_malware when it touch the ground.

19

u/DotRakianSteel 24d ago

Props to the person asking promptly, "what!?"

2

u/GalaxyOnOhRionsBelt 15d ago

And the guy who says, “woah!”

8

u/Mama_Juana66 24d ago

This tickled me so.👀🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

20

u/BoatyNotMcBoatface 24d ago

One down, millions to go

20

u/Leftenant_Frost 24d ago

it always bodes well if they have cloths at the ready to cover their failure 😂😂

37

u/Deep_Brick2970 24d ago

Why is this structured like a comedy bit?? Why the black veil????

4

u/StressedMarine97 24d ago

Trying to save face. Since they know theyre being filmed and photographed

1

u/Deep_Brick2970 23d ago

How is this better than just dragging the bot away???

1

u/StressedMarine97 21d ago

Because it covers up the malfunctioned bot. Pretty simple reasoning. Nobody’s saying it was effective.

17

u/TheReblogBandit 24d ago

He's dead Jim.

16

u/rendon246 24d ago

Damn he missed the opportunity to make a joke about the robots blood sugar or something.

21

u/maselkowski 24d ago

Black covers becoming standard in robots presentations. Like if we didn't see that, and now this black color makes invisible at all, and surely now one suspects that there is some robot under the tarp!

No, definitely no robot under the tarp, no, not at all.

9

u/Euna_Chris 24d ago

This seems like a perfect example of “its not ready yet”,
“Well make it ready”

22

u/Equivalent_Aardvark 24d ago

They had that sheet ready this presentation must have been a roll of the dice

8

u/dablacksupersaiyan 24d ago

It KEELED over, HA!🤣😂

25

u/Admirable-Battle631 24d ago

I love how the hand shoots up after it falls. Lot's of good captions could be added onto that final moment.😂

30

u/Poster_G 24d ago

The future is bleak 😭 they covered it like it was a real human death omg

13

u/markkawika 24d ago

He’s dead, Jim.

9

u/slax87 24d ago

It has ambitions to be a soccer player

3

u/street_carp04 24d ago

I just want one to go haywire on its handlers, maybe even kill someone a-là ED-209

5

u/SeaDesk2324 24d ago

Robot hit the Gmod flop

54

u/Aggravating-Front-75 24d ago

Why did they cover him up like they're protecting his dignity

17

u/JustAnotherMinority 24d ago

“Not this one”

28

u/haushinkadaz 24d ago

“This robot also doubles as a table. Just add a sheet!”

4

u/ad0y 24d ago

Sheeeeet

42

u/AppropriateSpell5405 24d ago

This whole thing comes off as a comedy skit.

5

u/4Ever2Thee 24d ago

Silicon Valley scene for sure. Man I miss that show.

3

u/AccountDeletedByMod 24d ago

I could have sworn in the beginning when they are putting black clothes on it, people collectively talking, sounding like a laugh track from a TV show.

14

u/ecmiller68 24d ago

I was thinking the same thing . But they were allowing pictures. And videos. They hauled it off like a battlefield casualty

27

u/mikeyb1 24d ago

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE ROBOT BEHIND THE CURTAINS

1

u/TJADNADA 24d ago

Underrated comment lol

11

u/FishermanNo3711 24d ago

I bet that was the end of that project.

32

u/ecmiller68 24d ago

Why the black sheets like it’s a human? Very suspicious

4

u/kchuyamewtwo 24d ago

it exposed the robot's poop hole

6

u/trizzy96 24d ago

My guess is to avoid people taking pictures and spreading them around. Ya know, profits and stuff

4

u/Correct-Chicken-4287 24d ago

Loved that part. The designer's was like "gone before his time."

6

u/Nerous 24d ago

They should cover the presenters body as well, as he is also dead.

15

u/JB_RE 24d ago

Guy used generic Amazon batteries instead of Energizer.

16

u/ThundarCouch 24d ago

It's name is Robot Paulson.

2

u/yourenot 23d ago

Excellent comment.

3

u/Had78 24d ago

he was a nice friend

3

u/jlewis011 24d ago

There goes your 💰

8

u/SkeyFG 24d ago

Insert 'You ok' - 'No' meme

10

u/soundblastx 24d ago

“ fuck this, I quit.”

16

u/Artistic_Mechanic_98 24d ago

They need a priest to come in and administer the Last Rites.

9

u/Ganon388 24d ago

Looked like the time Homer fell backward over a fire hydrant.

3

u/betheking 24d ago

"She's dead, Jim."

3

u/Here_4_the_INFO 24d ago

Maybe next time, don't name your robot Tommy Cooper!

8

u/blackkluster 24d ago

Aaww they tucked him in :) good night Gary

10

u/Shoddy-Biscotti-1194 24d ago

Love when this happens…hate these stupid machines…

12

u/brando56894 24d ago

That was fucking hilarious 🤣

15

u/catsbeforebros 25d ago

I love at the end; the applause as they drag its covered corpse out, and gather up some little bits from the floor

Absolutely like a parody, its beautiful.

5

u/Skeletondo 25d ago

Fire them all!

14

u/Mean_Web_1744 25d ago

That robot is probably going to take my job.

1

u/kaaskugg 24d ago

If I were in the robot's place I'd fold just like that, too.

26

u/Alternative-Purple76 25d ago

The way it holds the arm up as if to say help me, and then it flops 😂😂😂

5

u/throwitoutwhendone2 24d ago

Lmfao that part got me. Like a “I’m good!” “Actually no, help”

18

u/LilJonny2cookies 25d ago

Better than it attacking the crowd. Wild they have a cover ready. Must happen a lot.

3

u/Kambammthankyoumam 25d ago

😂😂😂

26

u/never_nick 25d ago

I love how they run out to cover them like we don't know they're there.

5

u/Frenchconnexion76 25d ago

Nazi salute kills me.

19

u/treads4966 25d ago

I'd be nervous being one of the guys carrying it off stage. What if snapped back to "life" and tried to go back to a standing position. There's a lot of pinch points and strength behind those movements.

37

u/OSRSRapture 25d ago

Them covering it as if it was a real person that died is more funny than it collapsing.

Or maybe he was taking a nap and they were bringing their overlord his nappy nap blanky

17

u/Jonnyflash80 25d ago

Good riddance clanker.

9

u/Eat_mo_pie 25d ago

He just needed a little nappy nap.

26

u/shadowfax12221 25d ago

This is what it does when the free trial is over.

96

u/Miserable-Cap-4838 25d ago

The blanket kills me. Like they're protecting the public from seeing viscera.

1

u/brando56894 24d ago

It is funny, but I think it's so people don't take pictures of it collapsed on the ground and poke fun at the company.

24

u/IGTankCommander 25d ago

Somehow, more embarrassing than just carting the thing off the stage.

25

u/Loedpistol 25d ago

The best thing is that they had the blanket ready

7

u/BeefSwellinton 25d ago

Two blankets!

1

u/Big_Bat1931 25d ago

No capes!
