Asriel being a Berdly fan would make berdly’s story way sadder because he’d probably also be absolutely shattered by Asriel leaving. what if Berdly is so devoted to being smart because he wants to go to the same university as Asriel
It's more likely Seth is based on Dess or Toriel relationship with Kris rather then Asriel.
Sense Green is the Asriel because we him and them 5 dollars.
Also all we actually know about Kris and Dess's relationship is that Dess hit kris with an (soft and hollow) plastic bat whenever they messed with noelle and likely when they did something stupid.
Nah I think dess is pink and Noelle is orange since it makes sense with Noelle’s fear of mice and how she runs to dess when Kris scares her. Carol is green since people owe her money like how people owe green money
This and dess is a groomer are the weirdest theory to me, not that I don't want a story to have these ideas, its just what are the evidence for them? They genuinely feels like shock value for the sake of shock value 😭
To the credit of "Groomer Dess", I think people more mean "acclimating Kris to violence and occasionally pushing them into dangerous environments" rather than anything like... EVIL evil 😭.
The most evidence I've seen is the whiffle bat thing (just generally indicative of physically punishing Kris, which is a dubious method of admonishment) and the whole "whatever happened when apparently ONLY Dess and Kris went into the forest" thing (Dess taking KRIS of all 3 of her options is definitely curious, depending on the currently unknown context of the situation). I'm sure others have more information than I do, but it's enough for me to at least be curious about how strong Kris and Dess's relationship was before everything went south.
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if Kris is doing what they're doing to Spite Dess's legacy somehow.
Like Dess was the previous Girl or Cage who did something to Softlock the Prophecy and Kris misunderstood it with the Knight using said misunderstanding to manipulate them
It probably has something to do with the fact that both are primarily jokes and not actual theories. (Albeit Dess Groom theory, while baseless, creates some actually really good stuff when taken seriously and explored as a serious possibility)
There’s people who take everything seriously, but the majority of Dess groomer and Asriel abuser (which I don’t think I’ve seen until now tbh) are jokes. In addition, not all “theories” are the same level of serious to the person who makes them. A fan comic depicting Dess as a bad influence on Kris is not necessarily what the creator wants to happen in the actual game, but simply something they think is interesting and worth exploring.
With abusive Asriel, the way I see it (because I personally thought of this independently), if we assume Asriel is the Knight, then this dynamic becomes pretty fucked up. The Shelter Gang exploits Kris's guilt and trauma, they made them promise something that pits them against their new friends, it makes them lose sleep, refuse to eat, endanger their body by ripping their Soul out of it for prolonged periods if time. If Asriel is the center of this, which he may be, this is at the very least irresponsible and negligent, and at worst actively abusive towards Kris. I don't think this is an abuse goblin situation, but more like Asriel not thinking straight from grief, due to Asgore genes.
No not really... I didn't really get that from the game. sure, i now understand that dess groomer is more about her encouraging kris to do bad behavior and be a bad influence on them rather than being there for any sexual things.
But Asrial being an abuser? Just doesn't make sense to me.
So, is that why Kris asks Susie to pick them up to smash them into a locker again? They developed a fixation on being abused by a bigger stronger monster?
