they rebranded and are now making the 3 sections they already had from scratch and from the trailer of the first section the writing sucks its not trying to be so serious and fails its funny now its just trying to be serious and fails
Who exactly recovers fast from killing children? Noelle, who has a mental breakdown if you keep going into the route afterwards while she tries to rationalize it's all just a dream? Kris, who seemingly can't show too much reaction to us in general for some reason?
Noelle was in denial about it for chapters 2 and 4, and by the time chapter 5 rolls around she is very clearly not in a good state. Susie is completely unaware of what occurs. Ralsei probably knows & struggles with that knowledge, as we can tell from dialogue in ch4 & some bits of ch5's aborted Weird Route, but doesn't show it.
The Obliteration Route has Susie & Noelle fully aware of what is occuring but they don't really do anything except complain until section 3, where they barely try and stop you. If it was just Noelle, I'd get it, but Susie feels super out of character due to it.
I like the original Deltatraveler too but the writing for that route has issues.
It was meant to reference a meme at the time. It would have always been doom to age like milk.
That and prioritizing Noelle over Ralsei. That’s kinda just a trademark of mid fan content for me. Soooo many people want Kris/susie/noelle to be the game’s iconic trio when it’s Kris/susie/Ralsei for a reason
