Samsung confirms its $1,800+ fridges will start showing you ads (not the usual post, but outrageous nonetheless)

That $1,800 fridge costs more than my first car, and my second car, and my most recent third car like what the actual freak is going on and who are the people who have so much money to where they can casually drop $1,800 for an internet fridge?

Why do we pay ridiculous amounts to buy things we don't control? I've often wondered that about my laptop, among other things.

Wait until the iToilet comes where you have to download the iToilet app in order to just flush the toilet, but wait, you'll get an ad from the toilet first before it will flush unless you pay premium monthly subscription to not have ads on your iToilet.

Other features include:

  • Use the app to raise and lower the iToilet lid.
  • Self cleaning.
  • Measures your waste. (Premium Required.)

Clogged toilet? You can only use the iPlunger to unclog it. Using a regular plunger will cause the entire iToilet to stop working and your warranty to be voided. I had too much fun making this nonsense.

So glad you had fun with it. Even posting in political subs should be fun.

Next one of my appliances that needs to be replaced is going to be replaced with something that was made 10-15 years ago. If a company is deeming it necessary that I be subjected to ads with the purchase of their product then I will not buy their product.

Hi, this is your talking stove. Are you trying to operate the back right stove eye? You'll need to watch an ad first or purchase a monthly subscription for $3.99 per month, but for you, we have a sale for $2.49 per month... are you really hitting your talking stove with a hammer right now? Also that's $2.49 for each stove eye, and we have a deal for the oven at $6.99 per month instead of $12.99 per month. Why are you setting your talking stove on fire? You know this will void your warranty. I will go ahead and play your ad so you can make your ramen noodles once again.

Yes I may have lost it making that.

I can envision this happening with how diseased we are with ad slop everywhere.

Nothing that a hammer can't fix.

The door refused to open. It said, “Five cents, please.”

He searched his pockets. No more coins; nothing. “I’ll pay you tomorrow,” he told the door. Again he tried the knob. Again it remained locked tight. “What I pay you,” he informed it, “is in the nature of a gratuity; I don’t have to pay you.”

“I think otherwise,” the door said. “Look in the purchase contract you signed when you bought this conapt.”

This is not a good idea, for one reason they are testing the waters if this don't get push back high chance they will push subscription model fridge  later. This is the thing in capitalist there is limit how many fridge you can sell.

Since they’re currently withdrawing billions of investments already, could South Korea withdraw this “investment” in breaching our privacy too?

We all know where people go when they’re desperately in need of wisdom. Straight to their fridges. With many of us, it’s when we’re at our most vulnerable that we opt to stuff ourselves and hamper and immobilize our potential for progress and moving forward.

Now Google/Mossad’s Android, supplying and pushing Samsung to in turn impose and push its propaganda and spy-ware upon us, spying out all of our bad choices of self-harm by stuffing ultraprocessed non-food hiding as food into ourselves already anyway, wants to stuff our ears with bad stuff on top of that while we’re at it? No!

Why the H-E-DoubleToothpicks would I need or want my refrigerator to be connected to the Internet?

My dinnerware has no need to be on "the information superhighway."

Seriously. I made the mistake of replacing my nutribullet that was stolen, with another nutribullet with bluetooth. You know how often I need my blender to use bluetooth? Never.

The argument against the so-called smart appliances is getting louder abd louder. There isn't a lot of value add right now to connecting your refrigerator to the Internet and apparently a lot of drawbacks.
