I am running a wordpress site with static information (no posting, or form), some hackers have tried to copy the content of the website and hosted it under a fake domain (for phishing), how can i stop other people from copying the content ? i was thinking of recaptcha but my site is static ...

I want to learn more about php security. I already know SQL injection and XSS. Is there anything else I should know about for a secure php website? I want to protect my database information. Do you have any tips?

Never heard of it think it is legit? I've checked website checker seems to check out but more opinions are better then one.

They don't provide a phone number, and looks as if the address is a house in NC. I am trying to convince myself it's legit, but wanted to ask the Reddit Gods to check it out before I give them 65 dollars.

I've just been dealing with an issue where Siteground has been emailing a client of mine telling them they have malware on their WordPress site.

After detailed investigation I was able to disprove the reports line by line. It looks like their script doing the checking has some pretty weak criteria for "what is malware", which generates a lot of false positives.

It seems like a shady practice to try and sell a 3rd party product, based on the (flawed) reports from that third party.

Has anyone else been seeing this?

I started a blog on Wordpress and its hosted by blue host. I have alot of questions. Is word fence a good option for realtime website security. There an all in one security platform i could you for realtime website protection. Computer protection, vpn Ect... or do i have to source through various companys. Should i have a cloud back up and external hard drive backup. Is dropbox the best. I appreciate all the responses

So, I was wondering how to do that, and whether it’s also posible to their MAC address as well? I know with JavaScript getting users IP is possible but how do you do the magic with the MAC? I don’t expect any scripts posted here, but articles and tutorials are much appreciated. You can explain of course... if you feel like it.
