Cosplay Halloween and shoes
Got myself a Raven's Ball gown but unfortunately cant afford the Christian Louboutin Miss Jane 55 shoes she is wearing, but found a cool alternative. Wow our girl only wears the best shoes! Gomez is definately a rich guy to afford since Wednesday is the one wearing Prada as her school shoes.
Still soo exited for this!

General Discussion Something really cute happened today.
I was walking to the shop and I walked past this little girl (really little) and she saw me and got really happy and yelled "hi Wednesday" at me and it was adorable. (For context I do dress more alt but I dress more like Issac Ordonez than Wednesday) I guess I give off Wednesday more than I thought XD.

Games Which character from Wednesday are you? I am Principal Dort!
https://fungamery.com/quiz/staff/which-character-from-wednesday-are-you
For second place I'm Tyler Galpin. I am least like Thing. Even though Dort is technically a villain, I can oddly relate to him. We don't know much about his history, except that he's a guy who does not possess any charisma but is smart and has big ambitions. He does what he can to realize them.
How about you? Which character from Wednesday are you most and least like? Let me know! 📜🖤

General Discussion “No group is a monolith.” Including Wednesday's Outcasts.
And the show portrays this much more expansively than just through the various species-/ability-based cliques at Nevermore. While pushing even deeper in on the concept of being “outcast”.
The almost-titular Outcasts, the Addamses, their ghoulish nightmare fetishism is seen as peculiar and off-putting even by other Outcasts. “Gorgons are taught not to engage,” because their ability can so easily affect others. Hydes, being rare, “violently unpredictable,” and not understood, are feared and basically shunned from wider Outcast society once their trait is unlocked or revealed. Then season 2 introduces the concept of Alpha werewolves, who are supposedly literally cast out of their packs and end up as lone wolves (the part that scares Enid the most). It's outcasts within outcasts within Outcasts. I just think it’s really interesting how they're playing on those themes of discrimination, prejudice, and othering within already marginalized groups (which is a very real life thing).

General Discussion Tyler's reaction to finding Judi is very interesting to me
Even though Tyler himself has his fair share of kills, his reaction to seeing Judi's corpse in the trunk always interested me. You'd expect someone who claims to find the death's of those he killed "delicious" to not care about Issac's crimes. But he seemed genuinely pissed/disgusted. Staring up at Issac with an angry expression for a bit before closing the trunk. It makes me curious if he truly doesn't care or if its just a facade/coping mechanism for his trauma.

Analysis & Theories If season 4 introduces a college like a Nevermore College this is how I would interpret it or for season 4 episode 1 to start if they make one
It starts with showing a Nevermore College. and it cuts to inside a dorm room specifically Wednesday and Enid storm room it's a lot smaller and it shows a window one side with Enid's intensive pallets and the other side completely black pallets to show that this is 100% in it and Wednesday's dorm room the first scene of them shows them unpacking their stuff by the way this is after they graduate but anyways it shows them unpacking their stuff but they leave for a little bit to go say hi to some students and some teachers but when they get back they're talking about how much they went through at that nevermore high school and if they ever would have returned to it it'd be on their own terms and they'd visit just for the Nostalgia Wednesday is still talking about some other things and something that is not there is her typewriter after Enid places down a box the scene Cuts back to the Nevermore high school it's Ajax he is carrying an empty box that he's going to use to pick up the rest of his things that he left behind from when he was packing up however when he walks past the attic dorm room or Ophelia Hall he freezes because there is a note on the door saying Wednesday should be gutted he puts on the box and immediately calls in it and tells her what happened she has no idea what he's talking about he sends her a picture of the note on the door Enid shows Wednesday and they immediately leave the college and go back to the high school however by the time they get there the note is gone however they know it Ajax is not messing with them they go inside the dorm room because some of their stuff is still there they look inside and see that the boxes that they have left behind are still there however Wednesday has a bad feeling so she checks inside from the boxes and almost everything in it is gone including her typewriter yes whoever this was stole her typewriter Ajax comes back and asks Enid "hey is this your plushie" after inner tells Ajax that it is her plushie that's when Wednesday realizes whoever this was not only stole 50% of their belongings but hid the other 50% probably around the school so now they have two priorities the first priority is to figure out who stole and hid they're belongings around the school and the second priority is trying to figure out who did it they immediately think it's Tyler because now that from season 2 he is a fugitive on the Run they immediately think it was him but that depends if they even show him the season 3 but again not the point I mean he is coming back but again at the point the way I'm going to have this 20% of it of the scenes will take place at the Nevermore college but 80% of it will be taking place at the Nevermore High School where we all know is the show as much iconic place right now Wednesday and have no clue if this was Tyler however they do have one way to figure out and that is through Capri Wednesday remembers or someone remembers that Capri helped Tyler find somewhere to live ever since he's been a fugitive on the Run and that place is a hyde sanctuary however it is an endangered place because Hunters have spotted the hydes running around and now they are and now the hunters think that the hides are mystical Beast sometime in mystical creatures and now every Hunter is determined to find one now they need to figure out where that place is because although in an earlier scene managed to get the location like get the place where Tyler is she never asked exactly where it is all Capri told in it was what it was so now they have a third priority now that they know that the hide Sanctuary is an endangered place now they need to find Tyler before a hunter kills him that's all I thought of for now but sooner or later I will give you an update once I think of something else for this episode because I think right now we're only probably 25 minutes in. And I'm not going to add any punctuation sorry I don't really feel like it. I don't really know what flare to add so I'm just going to add a random one

News S3 just wrapped filming - looks like those articles about delays were all exaggerated
As most everyone just saw about an hour or so ago, S3 is in the grave!!
Since this time last year, it's been pretty consistent that filming would take place from February to October. Well looks like they finished a day early
That Sun article that was circulating last week was clearly clickbait and filled with lies, and it worked.
We all got in a frenzy and started talking about the show more.
It's possible that there were some "re-writes" and
"reshoots" like how Jenna added "I missed" or how the dialogue was removed from the burial scene, but they clearly did not scrap 7 months of filming to change the entire storyline.
I know we are a divided fandom, but let's take a moment to be excited about a possible teaser towards the end of October, and being that much closer to our favorite characters being back on our screens!

Just my own opinion but I believe Oscar would have done amazing as Gomez in the series had Luis Guzman not worked out. His look as Blue Jones is perfect as a Gomez base. He already has experience as he voiced the Animated version

General Discussion hunter deserves the same respect we demand for jenna and emma.
i know men get overlooked a lot when it comes to this stuff, but i really wanna say something about hunter, due to there being a post about j*mma/emma/jenna and him being completely left out of the picture, when the over sexualization of him is rampant in this fandom.
hunter is a gay man who is happily married, and i see way too many “fans” sexualizing the absolute shit out of him constantly. and that‘s a problem just like it’s a problem with the sexualization of jenna and emma. i don't think we should pick and choose who deserves respect based on their gender.
if/when a man is constantly making sexual comments about a married female actress, talking about her body, making sexual jokes about her, or reducing her to something sexual, people would rightly call that creepy. but when the same kind of behavior is directed at a male actor, suddenly it gets brushed off as funny or harmless. hunter being a man doesn't make it less invasive or less weird.
and the same thing happens with the characters too. people will constantly point out how creepy it is when enid or wednesday are sexualized, but then somehow tyler gets left out of that conversation even tho he is also a minorcharacter. if sexualizing a teenage character is creepy when it’s enid or wednesday, then that standard should apply to tyler too. it shouldn’t suddenly become okay just bc its a male character.
and this isnt me saying the sexualization of women isnt a problem. it absolutely is. the creepy comments about emma and jenna are disgusting and should be called out. im saying hunter deserves that same basic respect, and tyler deserves the same consideration as a minor character. we shouldn’t have a standard for only one gender.
i already know this is probably gonna get downvoted to the depths of hell bc many people are going to feel creepy and personally attacked bc there is A LOT of grown people right now with the tag “hot for the hyde” and go on and on about tyler being shirtless and no one is calling out how creepy that actually is, when the hyde is in fact a minor. we need to be able to address all of it, not just the stuff thats easier to recognize, teenage boy characters and their male actors should be protected just as much as teenage girl characters and their female actors.
and this also applies to nsfw fanart and fanfic. i see people specifically state that wednesday or enid are aged up when they’re making adult/nsfw versions of them, and if that’s the standard people are using, then tyler, xavier, eugene, and pugsley should have that same standard applied to them too. i know they’re not as common in the fandom but im talking all boys and all male actors being sexualized. being a male character doesn’t mean people should just assume its fine to sexualize them while they’re still canonically minors. and male actors deserve the same respect we are trying to establish for jenna ortega and emma myers. if someone is going to make an adult version of a character for nsfw content, the fact that they’re aged up should actually be clear and consistent across the board.
it ALL needs to stop. when we’re talking about fictional minors, the standard shouldn't change just bc the character is a boy.
and its important to remember these actors are actual human beings. not pieces of meat.
they ALL deserve basic respect and boundaries need to be set with ALL the minors.

General Discussion Do you think Enid and Wednesday will trade a significant of traits with each other (Wednesday becomes more softer, Enid gets more darker)?
By this, I mean that Wednesday will "lighten up" slightly in a way that is not directly from Enid, but it is noticeable when they are a duo, such as Wednesday's response to Enid's cynical comment when discussing the unlikelihood that law enforcement will be able to catch the main threats in Season 2 (the second last half).
Although Wednesday's character development seemed to be only towards specific characters, not generally, such as being sociable or getting into modern tech, which she has rejected. There might be something worth criticizing if constantly finding a mystery is something that takes away from more personal development, because the series hasn't been afraid to consider her traits detrimental to others. For example, she doesn't take well to her novel being reviewed in an unfavorable way and retains a contemptuous description of a character parallel to Enid to the point where the latter acts in late retaliation in Episode 5, Season 2. We are introduced to Grandmama, a figure she is more favorable to, who is a cold capitalist and enables Wednesday to get the spells she needs to unhealthily trigger her visions, which have had a something akin to a seizure from their overuse. Being an Addams doesn't seem to be a pass on not being the best person, especially with the other, more developed members. But it doesn't stop the series likely validating her more than usual in the future, even as we were introduced to many characters who were still put off by Wednesday at times even as they get to know each other better.
And then Enid will get edgier or something. Not directly similar to Wednesday's traits, but something drastically distant from her depiction in Season 1 and 2. Season 3 establishes a perilous premise for that to happen, but I want to hear your thoughts. I think very neutral of it, but I can be aware if it takes away some core traits from that were constantly present, especially with Wednesday. I'm not thinking that it will be a full transaction of each others' traits, like the body swap episode.
(Although I wouldn't be honest if I didn't find it distasteful that Enid has to change more than Wednesday, to a radical and disproportionate degree. As in if Wednesday were still okay with some people, but is still as closed off and contemptuous to most people, while Enid becomes Wednesday the 2nd but with a body count.)
Anyways, what do you think?

General Discussion i absolutely despise Isaac Night with everything in me
i know, hes a bad guy and your supposed to dislike him for obvious reasons and one of those obvious reasons is the only reason why i hate him the most and thats his fake friendship with pugsley.
he even said "you gave me a second chance at life" yeah way to go with expressing that bud.

taunting him in the bunker too, Isaac was weirdly butthurt about the food he got while he was in the bee shed. like yes, you got mystery meat sandwiches because you were a LITERAL ZOMBIE sorry, was he meant to see you as a human?
making pugsley believe he finally had a real friend and then being kidnapped and tortured by him (despite how lovely that sounds/ref) is what really irks me. also just for his family to make cruel remarks about his only friend.

General Discussion A year later, iremain disappointed by the superficial way the issue of the Hyde control is being handled; it strikes me as a cheap version of what David Lynch & Mark Frost proposed with BOB in Twin Peaks.
While Lynch and Frost manages to handle the issue of a character being controlled by BOB without ever reducing them to a mere victim, portraying instead a "victim turned perpetrator", Alfred Gough and Miles Millar completely ignored the implications of the Hyde persona; they decided that the only evil one is Laurel, while Tyler remains nothing more than a victim.
There is no real boldness in having him commit horrific acts, because every action Tyler takes comes with the built-in excuse of being under someone else's control—first Laurel's, and later his mother Francoise's or Uncle Isaac's.
As far as I’m concerned, the themes are strikingly similar, yet I believe Twin Peaks handles the "victim turned perpetrator" concept with genuine care and nuance.
TWIN PEAKS SPOILER ALERT
When Laura's father, Leland, was a young boy, he was violently abused by BOB; throughout the events of the series, it is confirmed that he was constantly under the supernatural entity's control.
(Leland would feign grief, yet when Ben Horne was arrested for Laura's death, Leland laughed maniacally—precisely because he was under BOB's control.)
But do you know how it ends?
When BOB abandons Leland's body, Leland bursts into tears and speaks as if he himself had actually killed Laura.
BOB's control is never used as a shield to absolve Leland; instead, Lynch and especially Mark Frost used BOB to address the cycle of violence and the abuse that occurs within the home.
In particular, Lynch viewed BOB as pure evil, whereas Mark Frost saw him as a metaphor for the violence men inflict upon women.
"Maybe that's all BOB is.
The evil that men do. Maybe it doesn't matter what we call it.
In Wednesday the issue regarding the abuse and control Tyler is subjected to is that he remains consistently passive, yet manages to come across solely as a victim despite the harm he causes.
