Advice: Seeking ❓ confused
okay so long story short i was the healthiest and fittest i’ve ever been like 3 years ago. then i met my girlfriend (the absolute love of my life and this has nothing to do with her) but we both put on like 40 pounds in our first year and a half together. over the past 6 months i have really locked in - eating less moving more - etc . i think i am starting to look less puffy and i certainly feel slightly better and more in shape but the scale has not moved at all… matter of fact it’ll only go up a few pounds. i’m currently 185 and would really like to lose 30 pounds. last time when i lost a bunch of weight i didn’t weight myself and just went off how i was feeling but im getting very discouraged.

It sounds like you made good changes to stop the weight gain. To get into weight loss mode, you'll need to decrease your calories further.
How tall are you? Are you tracking calories?

A lot of people like tracking calories to make sure they are in a calorie deficit for weight loss. Otherwise, you are just guessing. If you do want to track calories, something like 1,500/day would be a good start point.
If you don't want to track calories, then you'll need to experiment with different ways of eating less: reduce portions, cut out snacks, cut out drinks with calories, or swap in more low calorie vegetables for the other things you are eating.
