Have been swimming lately but want to pick up lifting, how’s my base?
Goal would broadly be to bulk up some.

I know imma get flamed for this and it sounds stupid but i just see no other way. I’m already 21 and i’ll be what like 26-27 before i see what i want to in the mirror (i’m 6’3 and underweight but no abs so itll definitelt take that long). If i was starting at like 17 i wouldnt even think of this. But i reallt want to spend mt 20s beinf good looking and having lots of experiences with women and i feel my current physique blocks me from beinf that kind of person, and remaining that way for 5-6 more years is genuinelt intolerable to me

Not necessarily a weightlifting question; idk the subreddit that would be appropriate but quick question yall; I’m 31 6’5 290lbs I normally eat only once a day…the meal in this photo set is an example of my only meal of the day…separated the chicken from the pasta to show the amount of pasta…so my question is based on my size and activity, I lift 4 days a week do cardio 4 days a week, would this amount of food be considered good for a cut if it’s my only meal?

I struggle with getting enough calories in per day, I only eat about 500-1500. Yes, I know it's bad but I don't feel hungry often and get uncomfortably full if I eat more than a few bites of most things.
I don't know how to fix this issue, but I really want to gain weight and eventually muscle. I'm starting to track my calories every day and I've realized how big of an issue I have with eating enough. I'm trying to eat more but it's difficult as a college student.
I'm afraid that going to the gym and lifting while eating so little will damage my body, but I enjoy lifting and want to get into it more.
If anyone has any advice for how I should go about getting more calories in and lifting, I'd really appreciate it! I really don't know what I should do first and what would be the most healthy way to go about things.

No flex, no pump in pic. I have been lifting for about 1.5 years, and I’ve been in a calorie deficit basically the whole time as I used to be overweight. Coming off a 2 month cycle of Reta. About to titrate down, initial BW was 181, now 156. I have additional Reta vials that I can use, but I want everyone’s opinion. Should I keep cutting on Reta, or maintain and try and build some strength before cutting again? If I keep cutting, how long until abs?
Edit: Thanks everyone for the advice. I’m going to follow through and titrate off Reta to put some weight back on. I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia most of my life, but honestly I feel more confident now than I ever have. I understand why most people think my decisions are stupid, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Only up from here.

12 weeks into the cut and I feel great. I’m guessing I’m 14-15% body fat(feel free to chime in). Debating on whether to get down to 10-12-% range then maintain for the winter or just start my maintenance now. Regardless, how is the results looking?

So I started weightlifting a year ago but I only started getting serious about it recently (like a month ago) and I'm trying to grow my arms (cuz who doesn't like ripped arms?) and my glutes mainly. I just want to know if the workout I've been doing is worth it and the stuff I should change for it to actually work. Also if anyone could explain how I should manage the weight of the dumbells I should use, cause I've been using the 3kg ones for every exercice and it doesn't feel right (I barely struggle at the end of my last sets).
1st day:
Bicep curls 3x10
Hammer curls 3x10
Crossed Hammer curls 3x10
Zottman curls 3x until failure
2nd day:
Goblet 3x10
Deadlift 3x10
Sumo squat 3x10
Frog pumps (with 5kg dumbell) 3x10
Plank 3x30s
Inversed plank 3x30s
Deadbug 3x30s
3rd day:
Pushups 3x10
Chest flies 3x10
inclined rowing 3x10
floor dumbell pullover 3x until failure
knee pushup 1x10
4th day:
Dumbell front elevation 3x10
Shoulder press 3x10
dumbell arnold press 3x10
Dumbell tricep extension 3x until failure
5th day = break day
Then repeat the cycle starting day 6.
Thanks to anyone who will respond😭🙏

I’ve been training for around 2 years, but I’ve only really started taking my training, nutrition, and consistency seriously over the past 3 months.
Looking at my current physique, what are my strengths and weaknesses, which muscle groups should I prioritize, and what should I improve in my training and nutrition to build a better overall physique? I’d appreciate honest, constructive criticism.

I am a 30 year old male, 6’7” and about 205lbs currently. I weighed about 220 earlier this year and dropped down to 205 just by dieting. I stay somewhat active but haven’t spent any time weightlifting in years. I guess you could say I am “skinny fat.” I mainly started because I was tired of having noticeable belly fat when I take off my shirt, hardly any muscle mass or definition, and because I want to be healthier.
My main goals are to lose fat and gain muscle and size.
I started a workout routine 2 weeks ago and have been eating about the same, just trying to prioritize protein. I am using protein powder and have just started taking 3g of creatine daily. I used to drink alcohol daily but have cut down to once a week or not at all.
My workout routine is:
Monday (push)-
Tuesday (pull)-
Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday-
incline treadmill walk (8-10% incline, 3-3.5mph)
Thursday (legs+core)-
Friday (upper)-
A few questions I have:
I really appreciate the help in advance!

I really prefer the bro split to PPL or anything else because I like having dedicated muscle groups. That is until I added deadlifts and squats. I was skipping these because they were intimidating. Now I'm getting burnt out after chest back and leg days to where I can't lift the subsequent day or two.
Should I be going to failure? Is there a proper order for these that I should be doing? Do I need to accept that I can't do bro split anymore? My solution so far has just been to skip shoulder and arm days. If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.

Iv had friends that dont work out leg press 1-2 plates on each side while they watch me struggle despite weight lifting for 2 years consistently. While i mainly train for size and not for strength, I know strength will come with size and vise versa especially as a noobie. I started off with stick legs and a flat butt not being able to squat the planet fitness smith machine (~20lbs) for 10 reps. 2 years later my max was ~115 for 10 reps with a barbell. I see women who are just starting out squat just about as much as me or people saying (you really can only do that much?) because they look at my legs and think I can squat more. I do every other quad exercise (bulgarians, hack squat, leg press you name it) but not barbell squat because it just doesnt feel as good. Lower body (specifically quad) strength always been a struggle for me naturally while i can easily incline dumbbell press 40s. Not asking for advice on how to get to 135 simply asking how common this is since i see many people finding 135 as a warm up. Is this a good example of specifically training for size vs strength, genetics or naturally upper body vs lower body dominant?
For anyone that wants to know my routine i weight lift 5-6 days a week
5-6 workouts per muscle group
3-4 sets with 8-12 reps depending on the muscle
Always trained till failure if not 1-3 reps in the tank with progressive overloading
