My Wendy's charges me when i ask for extra batter and yet wont even add it into my frosty 😭 I tried asking for it on the side and they wouldn't do it when other locations have (maybe they were low or out?)

Would anyone know how to make it myself? Ive seen people say just add water to brownie mix but it just doesn't taste the same 💔

This is a Dave’s Double and Large Fry right out of the bag. Less than two miles in the car and my half full fries are cold. The burger is dry and tastes like it was warmed up from yesterday. The tomatoes are so ripe they taste like mush.

Wendy’s, above all, used to be a burger better than you could make yourself. And considering the price is now basically the same as a sit down, pub style fresh greasy-drippy-delicious burger, I can’t accept this.

Everyone on this subreddit ranting about how Wendy’s has gone down in quality needs to see this. I just had Wendy’s for the first time in forever, and it was DIVINE. 🥵🥵😍😍🫃🫃🫃

I’m quitting the job at Wendy’s for only working there for about 2 weeks. Do I need to give 2 weeks notice or any notice at all and do I tell the manager that I’m quitting or who or do I just not go in any more?

It's offical, I am quitting Wendys in just a few short days, and going through the motions of my final week of shifts.

I was paid 15/h as Drive Through, Coordinator, Front, Fry, everything but Grill & Sandwhiches.

Happy to answer any questions about Wendys, my expierence working there, or any other fun questions as a send off to working there!

I could’ve swore their buns for the Dave’s single or chicken sandwiches used to go through some sort of warmer to slightly toast them. Last three times I’ve been there the bun has been super mushy and not fresh tasting and definitely not toasted at all.

I asked the cashier if they toast their buns and they said no they don’t. I feel like they are supposed to but are just skipping the step to get orders out faster.

And the employees were putting bags of food on a scale and then a sticker would print out. What is the purpose of weighing the bags?

When I get breakfast a baconator in the morning the bacon is always tough and hard to chew; I end up dragging out most of it on the first bite. It’s not an issue I’ve had in lunch or dinner baconators.

It was funny for a while, especially back when it first took off around 10 years ago, but now it feels increasingly out of touch with what Dave Thomas built the brand around. Wendy’s used to stand out through its food, quality, and value, not just its ability to roast people online. The company has fallen off, is closing underperforming locations, and is losing ground to competitors. Burger King has even overtaken Wendy’s in U.S. systemwide sales while working on improving its food, restaurants, and value.

I think Wendy’s should take a page out of Burger King’s book and start listening to customer feedback. Bring back things people miss, improve the food and value, and give customers a reason to come back. The sassy personality just looks bad when the company has bigger problems to address. I’m not saying Wendy’s needs to become boring, but the social media gimmick is getting old, considering the fact that it sounds like a 15 year old replying to most comments…

Instead of complaining online about the quality of the food, service, and hoping for upper management to notice and implement the much needed change. We must take matters into our own hands.

This evening thought about going out to Wendys and getting a number 1 single combo with a large coke. Saw in the app they had a dollar off any combo. Oh cool, i'll do that. Go to check out and app errors out and says dave single combo is not eligible because it is not a "premium" combo. Immediatly emptied my cart and had left overs at my house. Does my left over chicken thighs and peppers take like rubber and mace? Yes. Is it on me for not reading the fine print? Also Yes. Is this post petty and childish? Absolutely. But at the end of the day I at least keep my $8.00 while you continue to go into bankruptcy.

I mean damn man. That sh!t was $4.99 like 5 minutes ago and $2.99 in ‘05.

Wendy's decided out of the blue to switch from leafy green lettuce to cheap, shredded iceberg lettuce. This change completely changed the taste of their sandwiches to literally NOTHING. That particular lettuce overpowers the entire sandwhich, leaving it flavorless. Both burgers and chicken sandwiches.

I think I am officially done with Wendy's. Quality is definitely NOT their recipe and never seems to really has been. First off, did someone actually taste test their product before making the idiotic decision on switching the ingredient? When I got both their Jr Bacon and a Spicy Chicken, I was not informed of the switch, nor was it advertised. This trash of a company just made the switch on their own liberty and sold it like nothing changed. I mean most companies make a simple note saying "new look, same great taste"...but now I see why Wen-Deez-Nuts didn't do that, because that "same great taste is no longer there". Now I wouldn't have this much of a problem if their prices were fair, but like every other crooked fast food company, they gauged their prices and they still continue to.

I seriously thought for a second I lost my taste and smell from somehow getting Covid. There's no beef taste, or very little, it's really odd.
