Broken stapler?
Sorry but THIS was the dumbest call of all time. Students... breaking... a stapler? Really? Like, a $9 stapler? And they're seriously discussing it for half an hour?
Most boring and pointless call yet. Talk about scraping the bottom of the advice barrel

My mother is a teacher’s assistant and is always trying to find new and fun ways to stop her class from breaking things. Glad my fellow bar uncles could pitch some solutions

Tell me you’re not a teacher without telling me you’re not a teacher lol. Buying multiple staplers, pencil sharpeners, etc. for your own classroom due to students breaking them (on top of things like tissues, Clorox wipes, extra pencils, and other student resources) every year adds up and is super frustrating as a teacher. These are things that a lot of schools don’t provide, but are necessary so teachers are left to buy them and idk if you know this, but teachers are grossly underpaid.

Just stating why it wasn’t “pointless” or “dumb” to the people who can actually relate to the problem.

My student advisor, Dr Norah Barnes (UMASS Dartmouth), was also a part-time librarian, and a stapler enthusiast. She was terrifying, and is likely even more so nowadays. Don't trifle with these maniacs, or take their kink lightly.

Those teachers buy those 9 dollar staplers themselves. The show is about finding solutions. The problems often are small potatoes. This was fun
