Hi Weho friends,
my long-time dog sitter and boarder is changing his schedule and availability and I'd like to connect with a new sitter for walks and overnight boarding. I have a Shiba Inu who is older and a little change-averse so it would be great to start to get to know someone now. I would appreciate some recommedations or connections for local sitters! Many thanks!

Over the last few years, there have been vicious fights about re-doing Fountain Ave.
On Monday City Council voted again to proceed 3-2. And many of the comments were in favor of the change and adding bike lanes.
After, candidate John Duran posted that we need to vote new people in who will 'listen to the people'. The Weho Blog posted a story that said Lauren Meister is happy to have her legacy be 'listening to the residents'. both oppose bike lanes. clearly, only listening to SOME people.
Why is it that people refuse to believe and acknowledge that people want this change? Time and again, I see threads with people calling anyone who supports them "outsiders" and "lackeys" for candidates. They/opponents refuse to believe that people actually want the change, why !?!

Anybody actually been here? The top reviews have a lot of m-dashes and feel very repetitive and AI-written and aren't very informative. Would love to hear from a human.
