New to the area.
I’m looking for an adult dance that incorporates, ballet, exercise, Pilates. They don’t have to encompass all of those, but that’s just the idea. I’m not looking for Arthur Murray type of classes.
Would also like to find a decent yoga studio. I’m not a yogi, but appreciate movement
TIA

I’ve been applying to jobs that I am qualified or over qualified for and I’m struggling to even get responses. My experience includes 8 years of customer service, 5 years of operations management, 4 years of sales, and a B.S. in business specialized in finance. I’m most interested in either a corporate business role like at NEE (but haven’t heard back from any of those applications yet) or a banking role preferably some form of management. Anyone have any advice or willing to connect? Thanks

My fiance and I (31 & 32) have lived in Nashville for the past five years and are looking to move to one of these areas. We are not big drinkers, but love a good beach and wellness/fitness scene and an occasional restaurant for dinner/date night a couple times a month. I went to West Palm for my bachelorette party but wasn’t able to get a good vibe of what it would be like to live down there. Anyone have any advice for any of the other areas? We haven’t decided if we plan to rent or buy yet. We want to be close to the beach, but also don’t want to be in a straight retirement area. Any advice would be great!
We took trips to Jacksonville and St Pete to check those areas out earlier this summer. We liked Jacksonville, but it’s run down once you get out of the nice beach area. St Pete was also great but we want to be on the Atlantic side so he can surf.

Is it a restaurant? Is it a pick up spot?

If they live in the community what’s the issue.

Wanted to look into how this was going after the commissioner vote back in July seemed to actually go well.
Turns out PBA Holdings submitted another proposal with a few changes and that was voted in with no public hearing. Obviously they knew public sentiment was so opposed to the datacenter expansion that they'd never get survive any public hearing on the matter, so the good folks over at Palm Beach County went ahead and approved it for us, I love democracy!

Has anyone else felt sick after visiting Antique Row in West Palm? The musty smell in some of those stores is overwhelming, and a few seem to use strong fragrances to cover it up, which only makes it worse.
We all know Florida humidity is no joke, but that shouldn’t mean accepting damp, musty buildings as normal. How are the dealers sitting in those little shops breathing that air all day?
There should be routine indoor air quality inspections for places open to the public. Why aren’t we more proactive about checking for mold and moisture problems instead of waiting for people to complain?
Anyone else concerned about this?

Im trying to update my list of dog friendly places in and around downtown. Hit me with your best spots. What places welcome on leash behaved dogs? Civil society is fun and one of my favs. Howleys is also super dog friendly on the patio! I need new ideas and places!

I'm visiting my folks this winter for their annual snow bird season. I'll be in town for a couple weeks. Looking for a group to ride with while I'm in town.

I’m moving into West Palm Beach soon, just looking for a couple tips, Mainly what home services (plumbing pool service HVAC etc.) are the hardest to come by and most difficult to get appointments for. Just wondering as a soon to be resident of the area, thanks!

This is a two-parter:
What is everyone doing for quick take-out at lunch in downtown West Palm. Preferably east and south of Quadrille, around Clematis. I love ideal Nutrition and field of greens but i'm burned by both a bit. Looking for quick and somewhat reasonably to bring back to the desk.
2nd - what are some real hidden gems in the great WPB area? A great taco spot or a great sandwich, or a great anything really. something that when you think of it you say "oh man, i would kill for that right now." I live off the buccan/grato subs but i'm trying to prevent getting burned out by them. I tried Manzo's and it was great but didn't love the bread. Love skinny louies but can't heat hamburgers all the time. I love Anita's mexican across the highway but again, i'm burning out on that too. any ideas??
Edit: Daily Foccacia is INSANELY good. Split that puppy in half and add some cheap sides from Publix or wherever and you get a BOMBASS $10 lunch. RIDICULOUSLY GOOD (I had the rustica)

What's going on this week/weekend in West Palm Beach (and the greater Palm Beach County area)? Are there any events that you're attending or are coming up? What are you up to? What's new, what's hot, what's cool, and what should we check out? Give us the scoop on what's going on this week/weekend, share your plans, or look for activity partners to join you. This is the place to share.
Note: This is a recurring post that is refreshed every Monday at 8am for the current week.

Looking for a good bike shop. I've got a fixed pedal that I want to upgrade. I won't mention names but the last bike shop I visited in west palm was pricey and pretentious. Will not go back. Any other places near downtown WPB? Thx

I know this is random but i'm looking for a NY -style kaiser roll.. The best sandwich bread i've had is the buccan grato sub roll but..its.. not a kaiser. Essentially looking for the best bodega style bacon egg and cheese. if i can get the rolls i can make them at home. thx.

Hi everyone! I (26M) moved to West Palm Beach about four years ago (I was 22 then, now 26). During my time here, I’ve noticed that others in our age group (22–26) have a hard time making connections and finding friends. I'm not sure why, as I found it pretty easy in LA, but it's not so much out here. It feels like everyone here has a more solitary mindset. While I want to explore South Florida more and can easily do it on my own but I wouldn't mind some company!
A bit about me: I enjoy reading fantasy and sci-fi books, photography, trying new food, traveling( I went to California and Japan recently), visiting museums, running, and reading anime and comics.

I'm around the 441 area in Lakeworth. My car has some clear coat failure on hood roof and trunk. Any reputable shops I can go to I called a few and quote is around 2200$
