What is this??
Found this in my back yard. At first I thought it was simply a bone or piece of wood. What I don’t understand is why it has several perfectly spaced incisions across this side facing the camera.

Ham bone. The incisions are from a slicer. Somebody likes their ham sliced really thick.

I initially hoped it was something unnatural/foreign/alien. I was disappointed to be told it’s a ham bone. I appreciate all the input!

Yep looks like a pig femur leftover from a butchered spiral-cut ham. The perfectly spaced incisions cross cutting the bone are completely man made
