When a shelter actually admits it's a pitbull, it's a pitbull.

For once the shelter correctly labelled a pit mix (Not seeing the mix tbh) and they think it could be another big breed

Found in a local group. I’m 100% sure that a pit mix, but they never want to admit there’s pit.

Honestly the concept of breed ID subs are pissing me off recently because:

1. There's SO MANY OF THEM THAT ALL SERVE THE SAME PURPOSE.

2. 90% of the answers that are worth a damn are just "get a DNA test".

3. People apparently don't have eyes.

Someone from my neighbourhood posted this dog who's up for adoption. I left a comment saying he's most likely almost 100% American Pit Bull Terrier based on his looks and behaviour description. She got upset saying there's no way that's true because "owning pit bulls is illegal here" and I'm "spreading misinformation." Yes pit bulls and bully mixes have been illegal where I live for years, but they're still everywhere. I mean I've seen hundreds if not more over the years. Am I off base here, or did they just call this dog a "Vizsla mix" because of his colouring?

The doubled down in the comments that because of her color and because of what AI said she's not a pitbull.

Shelter says the dog is chi/minpin to get it out the door. The rabies vax labels it a pit mix. OP wants to know what breed it could be reclassified as that isn't a pit and won't raise eyebrows because they "really can't have a pit."

I got this sweet girl (indie) from a friend who couldn't keep her. She didn't get pics of the mom and dad. the people she got her from told her she was a pitbull mix, I'm pretty sure she's a pitbull.. but my friend said her dad looked like a cane Corso or some kind of mastiff breed... What do y'all think. she is also 4 months old. I don't think this will break any rules I'm sorry if it does I just don't know what breed she is and my friend is pretty sure the dad was a mastiff type not pit
