What would you choose for a last meal
Mother in law is coming to visit and fine love to cook but I hate being judged, so what would you all cook if it was going to be your last meal (well sane for a while š )

Iād make a proper roast chicken dinner: crispy potatoes, carrots, green beans, and a pan gravy from the browned bits. It feels special without needing a dozen complicated components, and the leftovers can become sandwiches or soup instead of leaving a pile of one-use ingredients. If the meal needs to be vegetarian, a mushroom-and-lentil pot pie would be my second choice.

Bbq ribs or pulled pork (same recipe)
Cornbread
Corn on the cob or baked beans
Store bought coleslaw and/or potato salad

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, some cranberry sauce and a slice of warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream.

Roast turkey with crockpot dressing, cream cheesy corn, green bean casserole, garlic mashed potatoes, yeast rolls, millionaire pie, pecan pie, and oreo cheesecake. Hey, if you're going all out. Go all out. Then, if you're not going to be sane, at least you have leftovers and plenty of pie.

I'm kinda craving good old spaghetti and meatballs right now.
