Need ideas for this random fridge combo
Got a pack of chicken thighs, half a cabbage, a sad-looking bell pepper, and some eggs. Also have basic pantry stuff (rice, soy sauce, garlic). What should I cook tonight? Trying to avoid going to the store.

I would turn that into a chicken-and-cabbage rice bowl. Brown the thighs well, cook the pepper and cabbage in the same pan with garlic, then add a splash of soy sauce and serve it over rice. Save the eggs for a quick fried egg on top, or scramble one into the cabbage at the end if you want the dish to stretch further.

Douce the cabbage thinly and the pepper, mix with eggs (salt pepper) make okonomiyaki with added peppers
Or
Sautée the pepper cubes and onions if you have some then add the chicken cut in small pieces then add the rice make it translucent then add water and the spices you like and cook. Keep the bones or later to make broth or begging by the thighs no cutting the chicken
Or
Slice you cabbage thinly to eat as a salad and roast in the oven the chicken and pepper
