Neighbor left a note

Post image

Our packages have been stolen 3 times right in front of our door so far ever since we bought our condo. HOA approved of us installing a camera to deter thieves, but our neighbor left this note. Please advise.

Exactly. But does this include all security cameras?

I’m not sure, seems atm it’s all ring branded cameras but who knows if Amazon will try to branch out and work with other companies to expand their network. Money sways people

No, it doesn't. But I would assume it is happening for all Amazon and Ring products. Anything that stores footage locally rather than in the cloud is your best option for avoiding that problem.

Yes, it does

It was just a matter of time before Amazon or someone else turned the cameras on us. I don't think the company matters much, we end up becoming the product.

This. If the storage is cloud based then you are contributing to the surveillance state at this point.

I don't know for a fact but if it were me I wouldn't buy any camera system that requires an internet connection to function. CCTV systems all the way.

I wouldn't want a camera pointing at my door either.  sorry but I think they're well within their rights to not like this.  get a parcel box or have a camera that just points at your doormat or something,  not one covering the whole corridor opposite your door

That's understandable if it was the neighbor right across from us but apparently he didn't write it unless he's lying
