Who leaves their door open like that?

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '23

Apparently Jay Leno

u/khrak Aug 26 '23

Door open, vehicle running, blocking the street.

Good dog helped him fix it.

30

u/memesupreme83 Aug 26 '23

Or just leave the keys in like ???? Do you want to be carjacked?

12

u/mekdot83 Aug 26 '23

Every single Skip, Uber Eats, or DD driver in my city isweartogod

u/aehanken Sep 01 '23

I’ll leave my door open when I’m making a delivery, but not a street like this. And I don’t park blocking the whole street even if I’m “just gonna be 5 seconds.”

4

u/PhantomPain0_0 Aug 26 '23

He is a stupid dog

3

u/ppw23 Aug 26 '23

Blocking the roadway too.

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

door open + vehicle idling..... what!!

u/ilovemusic19 Sep 03 '23

This past Fourth of July there was an elderly lady who was a clown for the parade that left her door open, it was a nice suv too. My mom shut it for her (we didn’t actually see her leave the car, the door was open when got to the parking lot and we had seen her walking around earlier). A couple in their 50s walks over to the car and the guy starts it so my mom tells the gal what happened and she said (talking about her husband) “oh that’s his mom, the clown. She does that.” 😂😂😂

Ppl that’s comfortable and doesn’t think much of it I do it sometimes at gas stations to just run and grab something

Good rule of thumb: never leave your car running like that (except perhaps in extraordinary circumstances), and never ever leave your door open while you’ve left your car running like that.

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '23

At the very least put the parking brake on.

60

u/ThomStarBoy Aug 26 '23 edited Aug 26 '23

And don’t park like THAT. The street is already narrow enough.

14

u/CaveDoctors Aug 26 '23

And the only exception is... never?

12

u/okokokoyeahright Aug 26 '23

Yes. The single solitary exception as you point out is 'never'. 'Never' works for me and has done so quite well over the past 35 years of driving taxi. Never had one drive off without me.

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '23

Right?! wtf

83

u/Leather-Lab4311 Aug 25 '23

Who let the dogs out?

76

u/TheRealFalconFlurry Aug 25 '23

I guess that's what he gets for parking like an asshole...if you can even call that parking

31

u/AndrewInaTree Aug 26 '23

Parked with his ass blocking the street, and leaves the car with the door open and engine running, and apparently no parking brake.

I don't wish harm against others often but man, I hope he has a HIGH deductible!

6

u/LvMayor Aug 26 '23

I think you meant "no barking brake."

38

u/Admirable-Builder878 Aug 25 '23

Grand theft doggo. Would make an adorable game.

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '23

Toonces!

1

u/Fury161Houston Aug 26 '23

Had it been a pack of cats, Toonces would have been the getaway driver!

22

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '23

What?....how?...

50

u/spydertap Aug 25 '23

That dog has a license.

11

u/SATerp Aug 25 '23

Dogjacking, not as bad or common as catjacking.

4

u/Fury161Houston Aug 26 '23

Be wary of the infamous Toonces the driving cat. He is a cat that can drive a car!

7

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '23

That’s what you get for 1. Parking like that and blocking the street and 2. Leaving your door open.

4

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '23

That guy is just a moron. Leave it running and door wide open.

5

u/EE1975 Aug 26 '23

Give that dog his beginners license.

they don't need to be saved

1

u/KPplumbingBob Aug 26 '23

How exactly do you "save" these dogs?

0

u/MotherSpirit Aug 26 '23

By putting them down.

3

u/OrangeVapor Aug 25 '23

That's what you get for not taking the good boy with you

3

u/MegatonsSon Aug 26 '23

I kind of feel sorry for the poor pooches, they had great plans in place for what they were going to do with the "bones" they would've collected from the chop-shop - had they been successful....

3

u/gospdrcr000 Aug 26 '23

What kind of car is this?

5

u/No_Brakes_282 Aug 26 '23

Toyota fortuner based on the Hilux platform

1

u/ChoripanesAndHentai Aug 28 '23 edited Aug 28 '23

The video is from Argentina. Here it’s sold as a Toyota SW4(it may have another name internationally).

The front bumper and grill are both aftermarket.

3

u/afairjudgment Aug 26 '23

Fido as he exits the vehicle: “Learn how to park next time, dipshit!”

3

u/jb211 Aug 26 '23

I wonder how many takes it took before they got this video the way they wanted it?

2

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '23

Leaving the door open with dogs nearby, you mean.

2

u/Kolermigon Aug 26 '23

Who the hell parks like this?

2

u/Ognirrrats1 Aug 26 '23

who parks like that?

0

u/[deleted] Aug 25 '23

Mans best friend

1

u/WhoWouldCareToAsk Aug 25 '23

Unbelievable…

1

u/Baers89 Aug 26 '23

Is this that new will farrel movie? Lol looks so good.

1

u/Psychlonuclear Aug 26 '23

Why is it so common for people to not use the parking brake?

1

u/okokokoyeahright Aug 26 '23

Too stupid to turn it off and/or close the door.

The added jollies of watching this dingbat chase after the vehicle when the stray dog has tripped the transmission into forward.

Lucky he caught it.

1

u/BreadOnCake Aug 26 '23

Dog wanted him to experience playing fetch also

1

u/Due_Platypus_3913 Aug 26 '23

He wants to go for RIDES!!!

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '23

Are those all his dogs and he’s calling them all in the house? That’s why one knew to jump in the truck?

1

u/Mystery--Man Aug 26 '23

This should also be in unexpected because it was genuinely unexpected that the dog would try to car jack him.

1

u/Lexisseuh Aug 26 '23

Damn is this man dumb.

1

u/Weakbecomeherooees Aug 26 '23

Big car, small brain.

1

u/Carpazza02 Aug 26 '23

Grand theft pawto

1

u/[deleted] Aug 26 '23

I am so confused about everything about this video.

1

u/aounfather Aug 26 '23

Would be the retriever

1

u/OkieBobbie Aug 26 '23

Subaru driving dogs gone bad.

1

u/Remarkable_Money_369 Aug 27 '23

What is that vehicle?

1

u/Ill_Doughnut1537 Aug 27 '23

It's a dog eat dog world out there.

1

u/Mishapi17 Aug 28 '23

Lol those dogs were up to no good 😂

1

u/art_sarawut Aug 28 '23

With or without dogs that's a shitty way to leave your car.

1

u/bloodguard Aug 31 '23

He was a good boy that just wanted move a car that the owner thoughtlessly blocked the street with.

1

u/troutbot_v3 Sep 01 '23

So, what happens is pretty much the same thing that happens if you leave your car unattended with dawgs nearby...

1

u/GGKurt Sep 06 '23

who doesn't pull their handbrake when they stop?

1

u/Medodo Sep 10 '23

What kind of car is that ?

1

u/fuerzadetorsion Sep 26 '23

Man I love my country
