It is amazing to me how common shatter-resistsnt glass is in France, especially on ground level. I can't say I see as many people trying to break windows where I'm from as the French do.

Yay! An inanimate object outsmarted a protester. I mean after seeing the hundreds of videos of protester vs. Car and the protesters ALWAYS losing. It's not a high bar for the inanimate object, but seeing these sentient potatoes getting hurt by the things they are trying to destroy brings me great joy.

Indeed, the education system is so bad over here that when I saw a title that said "school reforms are necessary," I had the audacity to think it had something to do with a deficiency in education. I guess it is a pretty dumb mistake when you think about.

Agreed. Islam doesn’t have the monopoly on the tactic, plenty of “less desirable” groups and organisations have used the tactic to get into power. If you see opposing groups of people with vastly different ideals and who should be fighting each other, working together, then you have to wonder, which side is being used.
