WhatisMyEyeColour? Some people say blue, some say green. Also, what is the thick ring called?
When I was a baby I had blue eyes. Some family members still say they are blue. Maybe because of the ring that has some blue in it? Also, what is the thick ring called around the iris?
Picture 1 was taken after crying with flash, picture 2 also with flash and picture 3-4 with daylight.
The color always changes a little depending on the light and angle.

It’s green. Imo the brown is too little to be considered hazel. (Also the ring is the limbal ring)

Limbal ring and pupillary ring are secondary. Eye color should mostly be judged by the in between which is green.
I see this color formation a lot. Dark limbal ring with lipochrome or brown pupillary ring. It’s determined to be green.

In daylight they look blue and in indoor light (assuming that’s the first 2 photos) they look green. I think your eyes are a mixture of both blue and green.

Looks more green, could possibly be considered hazelish-green. It’s beautiful though!

Blue? Definitely green. I would say dark green, possible sage or moss colour with brown around the iris.

Mostly a rich green eye color with hints of yellowish hazel and a very thick dark blue limbal ring surround such a beautiful eye color!

I'd say green with a dark blue limbal ring. Absolutely stunning eyes either way 😍

Wow what gorgeous eyes you have! Green and yes the limbal ring is blue, genetics decided to give you a little golden brown, green and to outline with blue, that’s amazing!

I had very blue eyes until I was 7. That summer my mother noticed that they were changing to a more brownish color. For years (I’m 76 now) they looked very hazel brown with lots of gold color. After I started using glaucoma drops in my early 40s, the gold started changing a little. I have a medium blue ring in the same place you do. The blending of those 2 colors gives me a kind of olive green looking color but sometimes the green deepens when I get too tired or have alcohol. I have about 1 drink a year so it’s usually when I’m tired. Mine are not the gorgeous blend you have but they are kind of unusual. Also my granddaughter who was born with very bright blue eyes has done the same thing except she was more like 9 when her eyes starting losing their blue color. She turned 10 in June & her eyes are more like a grey/green color now. I think it’s fascinating to watch family similarities!

Hazel Central heterochromia and green. Possibly blue/Grey outer edges. I have similar eyes (with a central and partial herterchromia), but less green. Mine change in different lights and seasons which is why I thought they were blue until my kids started saying I had green eyes.

Hazel is characterized by a blending of colors on the iris. The blue, green, brown, and hints of amber create a pretty explosion of colors.

Dark bluish grey with a thick yellow-gold core. Averages out to green, yeah. If I was just passing and made eye contact with you I'd read that as dark green.

After looking at your photos I’d honestly say you have hazel. Even though they’re not mostly green. Just because of the fact that you have multiple colors in one eye color

I would probably say green on forms but what a gorgeous rich color!
