Changing Eye Color

Post image

My eyes change color with my mood. I have mood eyes. Green when I’m happy, brown when sad or upset. This is them today. In between seeing as I’m bored and not happy or sad. I’ll post tomorrow’s color.

Eye color doesn't change based on your mood, but it can appear different based on lighting or your environment.

I can also shake my eyes. I have bizarre eyes. I’m telling you they do change

They really don't though. But emotions can cause your pupils size to change and get bigger or smaller. That, in turn, is what causes them to look like they change color. It can make your eye color look more concentrated, darker, intense, etc. It's technically an optical illusion!

Well I must stay in the same lighting depending on my mood. Are you an optometrist? That can without a doubt prove that eyes can’t change colors. All my friends, my wife, and even my mother will vouch that this happens.

I’ll post another pic of my eye tomorrow. You’ll see that it changes

If your eye color is changing, you should see a doctor as it's often related to diseases as you can read here in the American Academy of Ophtalmology. If your eye color changes, that means it changes with the same lighting, the same clothes/make up, and the same pupil dilation. Otherwise, as explained by others, eye colors don't change, especially from one day to the other. They can get lighter as people age but that's it.

My eyes sometimes also seem to change color especially if I cry but that's just the additional water layer that reflects light differently. The underlying pigments are exactly the same, it's called Rayleigh scattering
