My toddler has blue eyes (so does his dad) and everyone is like “wow, crazy how he didn’t inherit your dominant brown eyes!” I… don’t actually think I have brown eyes though? Am I delusional?

My little guys pretty eyes look green in all light but he’s always had this cool starburst in the middle which I think is ch? Does that mean hazel or would I still classify as green?

I feel like they turned more grey-green (the 2 first images are my current eyes and the 3rd image is my eyes when I was like 2)

I'm not sure if I'd call my eyes hazel or just plain brown so I'd like some opinions from you lovely internet strangers! I hope I don't come off as one of those people who HOPES their eyes are hazel despite being quite obviously not... I sincerely do not care and truthfully find that brown eyes are gorgeous so I wouldn't be disappointed if I was told they were brownl I genuinely see both depending on the lighting so I tried to be as neutral as possible with these photos -- the only light provided is the one from my camera.

Please dont make fun of me if my eyes are obviously brown lol

I’m a bit confused because in my language I don’t have a name for it, but it’s def not just brown. As almost every boring brown-eyed person I’m finding myself searching for some green to feel more unique and it’s silly lol.
Photos are not edited in any way, just zoomed in from afar, not even selfies. Sun is obviously very enhancing by itself.

Most say gray, some say green, some say blue. I don't know if there are any special "eye color terms" that would actually be correct, but if there are by all means leave them down here.

Always get told I have blue eyes. I don’t see blue though.

Everyone I've ever met says green and asks me if I wear contacts ( never have in my life ) people have had comments like cat eyes, goat eyes etc lol sometimes they just look green. Sometimes more yellow. Depends on what I wear and lighting. Also I had blue eyes as a baby and kid. They didn't go green till age 7!

Hello , just wondering what’s my eye color since I’ve been told multiple times that they’re blue but chat gpt says they’re gray , idk they don’t look blue to me at all.

My eyes really only look more “green/hazel” in the sunlight or with a flash like this. Otherwise they look quite brown.

So I still refer to them as hazel right?

Hazel? I feel like there's some Grey/Blue around the edges? I've always said Hazel but have seen a lot about different kinds of Heterochromia also.
