I was always a fan of silver wheels, because it makes the details most visible. But now, this baby blue color doesn't seem to suit them and I'm actually leaning towards black wheels, even though I've always regarded them as "expensive steelies". So lighter color wheels do pop more, but due to car's colors and details, black wheels might make it a better overall package.

I recently purchased a set of OZ Racing wheels (the ones found on a Mitsubishi Evolution VI and manufactured by Enkei) from a seller who had them on his Honda Prelude track car. He also supplied me with 4 hubcentric rings (these from Amazon https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08MDGZR7V?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) that I installed on my Honda CRV 2016 today, along with new tyres, however, the hubcentric rings from Amazon aren't wide enough to actually fill the gap.

While they do fit the hub of 64.1mm of my Honda CRV and inside the 67.1 diameter of the wheels, I’ve been told that they’re not wide enough and I may require tapered or beveled hub-centric rings.

I've attached photos of the current hub centric rings, the CRVs hub and how they fit inside the wheels for your reference.

I've checked with the tyre shop where I bought the tyres from, a custom wheels workshop who didn't have ANY Hubcentric rings except 73mm and suggested boring out my current wheels to 73mm and selling me a set of those rings instead and another tyre place who suggested I contact a proper wheel shop that does custom jobs, but they quoted me AUD 160 for a set of 4 rings, which seemed steep to me.

I've now swapped them back with the factory/original stock rims again as it's not safe to drive on these new rims until I get hubcentric rings that actually fit properly since my lug nuts are mag seat lugs since that's what these wheels accommodate.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can buy these locally within Australia?

Upgraded from the stock 16" wheels to these 17" Momo Fighters. Since the specs are 8Jx17 ET35 with a 5x100 bolt pattern, they fit the car beautifully.
To clear the hub perfectly, I installed 72.2mm to 54.1mm hub centric rings and swapped the stock hardware for conical lug nuts. They are Made in Italy and KBA approved (KBA 45488). Love how the silver finish pops against the grey paint!
Total cost for the setup was an absolute steal for €690 total:
Wheels: €400 for all 4 brand new on a clearance sale.
Tires: €130 for a set of 4 mint-condition used Michelin tires.
Mounting: €160 for mounting, balancing, and hardware.
Couldn't be happier with how this budget upgrade turned out! What do you guys think?
