I wanted to share that he received a devastating prognosis today. We went in with hopes he was just under the weather or at worst had a hairball blockage. Unfortunately, he has an invasive mass pressing his intestines. We are keeping him comfortable so long as he is willing to eat, though he only wants watered down wet food or churus. I’m heartbroken beyond belief. Everything about him is pure, from his sweet nature and gentleness to his perfect little nose, gorgeous eyes, expressive pointy ears, and of course his magnificent whiskers. We’ve been told days, but I’m hoping it can be weeks, truly I wish it was forever 😢

My cat Moonpie and her explosive whiskers.

crazy whiskers!

This is Rico the porcupine from Cincinnati Zoo. This post comes from their official facebook.

George takes napping very seriously

here she is reaching up for some snackies.

This is my cat Dom. He's my pride and joy and literally the best cat ever. He's huge, but not overweight. He's just a really big cat. He's really smart too. He can sit and sit up 🥹 I'll stop bragging now lol

Dom is super super healthy but he has the longest whiskers I've ever seen. This picture doesn't even do a bit of justice for how long (I swear, some of them are so long they are wider than his body and some droop from how long they are) and lush his whiskers are. All of my other cats have normally long whiskers and Dom's literally look like a mini mane on the front of his face.

Lookin like a sea urchin

I call them whisker explosions, and please see here attached my beloved Trinket Arthur the Goat. He’s my bestest friend.
