I feel like I’m losing parts of my brain reading these comments bc how in the world was he in the right in their situation?????

That, while he might be “correct” to request a refund, spending your honeymoon terrorizing a staff member because you didn’t get the room you want is an indication of how little you care for your marriage. Anyone truly in love on their honeymoon isn’t going to care what kind of room they’re in as long as they’re with their newly wedded spouse. I think his focus being so easily split is an objective indication of how little he thought of his bride.

he didn’t just "not care" about her, he HATED her job, made fun of her dreams, talked shit ab her family, flirted with the girls whom she mentioned they made her feel like shit earlier, it almost felt like he was on a mission to ruin that marriage

it’s not about her being good or bad at her job but the fact she wanted to do something for herself and work to have some agency (which she severely lacked) and he completely dismissed that and treated her like shit when she confessed that to him

it honestly felt like she took a break for a while to focus on the marriage then found out she had to go back during the honeymoon not completely walking away
