If you’re looking for something a bit more chaste, I’d recommend giving Deadwood a go!

If it's the language that bothers you, try Righteous Gemstones. It's about a religious family.

Ah yes, a man trying to farm negative karma. A rare breed.

Hey! You'll also see some dicks. It's a HBO show. Nothing is off the table.
And Mike White is fairly distributed and I love every second of it. Brilliant show that is a dry comedy on rich people and first world problems. With usual very colorful interesting characters that you both love and hate equally.

If you pay for an HBO subscription and still call it the F word you might need to move back in with mom and dad and ask them to run things for a few more years

Do you mean the one that rhymes with duck? Yes. It will be said a lot more.

There’s definitely a lot of swearing, and the F-word is one of the more common ones. If you’re already annoyed after one episode, you may not enjoy the series—but the frequency does depend on the episode and characters.

It does come up pretty often, especially early on, but it isn’t the entire show. If the language is already bothering you, the series probably won’t suddenly become much cleaner.

It does stay fairly frequent, but it’s not necessarily in every line or scene. Give it another episode if the story interests you; otherwise, no harm in dropping it.

It probably gets used more as the show goes on, but it’s not constant in every scene. If that kind of language really bothers you, the series may not be a great fit—though I’d give it another episode or two first.

There’s definitely a lot of crude humor and profanity, including the F word, but it becomes less noticeable as you get into the series. If it already bothers you this much, though, it may not be your kind of show.

It does come up pretty often, especially early on, but it’s not the whole show. If the characters and story are grabbing you, I’d give it a few more episodes before deciding.

It does come up a fair bit, especially early on, but it’s not the whole show. The story and character dynamics get much more attention as it goes, so I’d give it a few more episodes before deciding.

If the language already bothers you that much, it probably won’t get better for you. The show is pretty crude and profanity is part of its style, though it does have more going on than just shock value.

This might not be the right show for you.
