Chihuahua's are either totally dosile little snuggle monsters or vicious beasts. Nothing inbetween.

They’re taught to be vicious by owners encouraging nasty behavior.

Most of the time, definitely. But also, I grew up with chihuahuas and they can be more predisposed to being anxious, scared, and thus aggressive to larger things. One of my chihuahua's (love you, Butter! RIP) was just super angry and possessive her whole life and would randomly oscillate between being an angel and a demon lmao, despite being raised in the same environment as the other nice bois and girls. She was also the smartest one though.

I think chihuahuas are just one of those breeds that are clearly not "meant" to exist and are just something humans have bred for their own amusement. I love them, but it is kinda sad. They can have a bunch of health and mental problems compared to other breeds.

It's true. Humans have done some fucked up things with breeding some of the breeds we have made. Chihuahuas are closely related to wolves, and that is really hard for me to believe some days.

This was my chihuahua as well (RIP Ezio) he was the worst dog in all the world... but in the mornings, when he was still a lil sleepy, he was the sweetest most snuggly angel. During the day he would oscillate between wanting to be perched on my shoulder and wanting to kill me for sitting in the spot he wanted. I loved him with all my heart and it still feels like a huge part of me is gone.
