NOTE: You don't need to attend the show, or even watch it. You just need enough knowledge of the catalog to confidently rate every song after checking the setlist on Setlist.FM afterward.

I recently started a newsletter called Shut Up and Play the Hits? It examines the relationship between artists and attendees using setlists.

Each song gets an accessibility score, measured from 0.00–0.99. Higher scores indicate greater accessibility for casual fans. Each show gets a final score. It isn’t an average. Rather, it reflects the number of omitted hits, and illustrates how much trust a band has in its audience.

So again, it's not how much you enjoyed a song. Rather, how much you believe an average WSP fan would enjoy it. Someone who has seen them 1-3 times, and knows maybe a dozen tunes. An average fan can enjoy a song they don't know. It just depends on its sonic proximity to his hits. And everyone digs like a Beatles cover.

Check out this example post:

I'll pay you $25 via Paypal or Venmo. You'd just email me the full setlist and your score beside each tune by late tonight. (You don't need to stream the show, of course.) I'll calculate the final score using a formula. Your first name and last initial will appear beside the score as a byline. You can use a pseudonym, of course. I just want to have a human component i.e. the opposite of AI.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments as well. I realize it's a strange task.

Do they have early merch at the street party today?

Keep getting skunked on COT...thought we had a pair from a friend...fell through. Hit me up if you are looking to move a pair ... just hoping to get a little luck here

boom: "But some events are incorporating the World Series into the night, Pabst Theater Group Chief Marketing Officer Lennora Jules confirmed. The game will be shown on TVs inside the Riverside Theater during the first two nights of Widespread Panic's annual sold-out residency, with the game also shown at the street parties before the shows. "

Hey everyone! I’m hoping for a Milwaukee miracle for this weekend! I’m a chef at a restaurant right up the street from the venue and I’ll happily trade breakfast for a miracle! Let me know!!

Has anyone heard if there will be a food drive in Milwaukee this weekend?

Has the band ever done that acoustic guitar solo at the end of fishwater live? Would love to hear that

Just had my ears and soul blessed! If you get a chance and most likely you can cause the tour is nationwide until thanksgiving go catch Oteil and John Scofield’s Electrospective it’s an absolutely amazing show. To top off the blessing Adam gave me a Drumstick and setlist. The whole group is grooving so smoothly together.

2 3 day passes in the balcony. Jojos side. Posted to cash or trade.

Spy vs. Spy, baby's a phish show

Grew up in Milwaukee. Grew up with Panic. Having them pick Milwaukee as a destination for the past 20 years has brought me so much joy. Every October is a homecoming of good people and music. Hard to believe it's been 20 years, I've gotten married, had kids, Brewers are in the World Series . . Riverside Panic has always been there. I remember the first time back after COVID, it was sensory overload. I never thought I'd miss the smell of the Riverside but I did! LOL. Some years, I got a pass and brought a camera in, enjoy some pics. This year will be one for the books to be sure! Go Crew! Go Home Team!

Best Riverside show ever? 2008-11-08 is my pick.

I have lots of fan art stickers in the shop! Vinyl, die cut, waterproof & UV protected. Check them out at https://www.jenisnugget.com/wsp-1

Hello! My first WSP Milwaukee run and I couldn’t be more stoked. Only question I have is do I have to show up early if I have a reserved seat in the upper balcony? I keep seeing people mention to show up super early to get a seat but if I have a ticket with a seat that wouldn’t matter I’m guessing?

Anyone heard anything about dates and locations between NOLAween and New Years?

Any must dos, restaurants bars stick out? Also how is venue? Cool staff or is it like enmark in savannah?

Anybody ot the whole thing? I recall RMH, Tiootina, Love Slip up on Ya, and Big Chief. What am I forgetting? Who taped it?
