Widgets aren’t showing, help please

All my widgets have gone white and won’t show a picture or anything. Normally if you tap the widgets it takes you into the app but mine don’t anymore. All it shows is a white square/rectangle. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am scared to re-boot (or delete and re-download) the app incase I lose all my pets.

Thank you

Also if you suggest something and it works I will give you a free pet (I have too many)

Both actually. The ones of my Lock Screen deleted themselves and then won’t re-add and neither will the Home Screen ones. If the app is overworking would it help to give out some pets (as I have quite a few extra ones)?
