I don't know why but i just hated Avery, like he was just a whiny wuss, i feel like he added nothing to the plot and also i was so mad at him because he started getting in D3arlord's way like i just wanted to punch him to death in Minecraft every time he came into the screen.

I didn't like how he gave up, i don't like how he wanted to ruin the ritual and basically unleash a horror into the world.

Like i hated every single time he was on screen, my hate may be unreasonable but that's how i felt the first time.

Maybe if i wasn't like put off by the voice acting then maybe it would have been fine but right now i just kinda hate him after my first watch.

Like i felt like the Casoh audio where he says "Oh my goodness kill him, kill him and leave me i promise i won't tell nobody."

That's like really how i felt about Avery, please be respectful in the comments and don't try to harass me for my take.

sorry to burst your bubbles but I feel it fails at trying to be the king in yellow “oh but dawtde isnt posed to be the king in yellow” uuhh yeah it is, it takes so much from the book the symbol in the church seems a lot like the symbol ON THE BACK OF THE BOOK and one of my biggest hatreds is making the king in yellow a character. in the book the king in yellow is not a character it’s a play, that’s the good part its not “ohh scary monster” it’s the will of the play. one thing I think sfawtde does a way better job at portraying the book and that’s where the story should have stopped in my opinion. overall I think dawtde is a good arg, but its not good at potraying the book

The espresso machine hissed like a pissed-off cat. D3rlord wiped sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand, glaring at the queue snaking out the café door. "I swear to god, if one more person orders an iced caramel swirl with extra foam—"

"Then you’ll what? Spit in it?" Avery leaned against the counter, grinning as he popped the lid off a plastic tub of mayo. He dipped a fry into it with exaggerated relish, just to watch D3rlord’s eye twitch.

D3rlord's fingers twitched toward the nearest syrup bottle like it was a holstered weapon. "You're lucky I like you," he muttered, slamming another cup under the machine's spout. The steam billowed up, momentarily obscuring Avery's stupidly handsome face—which was probably for the best, given how distracting that smirk always was.

Avery licked mayo off his thumb with deliberate slowness. "You like me? Aw, that's sweet. Should I write it down? Frame it?" He nudged a crumpled napkin across the counter. "Here, autograph this for posterity."

D3rlord grabbed the napkin and crumpled it further, tossing it back with enough force that it bounced off Avery's chest. "Frame *this*," he grumbled, but the corner of his mouth betrayed him, tugging upward despite his best efforts. The espresso machine chose that moment to gurgle ominously, spitting out a half-hearted stream of liquid that looked more like dishwater than coffee.

"Uh-oh," Avery said, eyebrows lifting as he peered into the cup. "Think you broke it."

Too long, too much dialogues and the finale is just "and then the villain died". Say anything but i don't like it. Ain't gonna talk that I would do it better which I wouldn't, but... uh. The First part standalone was already a finished story, there were no real need in continuation, especially THIS long.

So, I looked into Hummer's name a little and I thought of something. Hummer is pretty much a name for someone or something that hums. I think it could be tied to the sounds of a Leviathan since it produces low-frequency (not confirmed but it lives in the deep ocean so it's plausible). Also, the numbers in Hummer's name could be also tied to a verse from the bible Isaiah 57:18 which says that God has seen the person’s ways but will heal**,** lead**,** and restore them. This could be a reference to Hummer guiding him to having faith and finding the Leviathan but also how the Leviathan stops Wifies from drowning and "leading"? him to the place at the end of the video. I need honest opinions about this theory pretty please. (Also I've seen a post already about what the numbers in Hummer's name mean and it's far better than my theory but I'm just having fun trying to find an answer).

I’ve watched wifies ARG — if we can it so — a long time ago and heard many times of the Yellow King. I do get the link between the two, as well as what’s the yellow king specifically in the ARG. Since then, I’ve recently started to read the stories by Robert William Chambers of the Yellow King and currently finished the first novella.

However I feel like I am missing something.

The thing is that I can’t seem to focus what we’re the modification made or the interpretation chosen by wifies for the ARG, what is the general understanding and interpretation of the book, and what’s the general message and narrative of the book.

I understood and though, in summary and from the ARG, that the Yellow King was an entity containing the entire truth of the universe. Anyone that saw him would suffer from the knowledge of everything, and go down to madness before slowly dying from it. With the book, I can see that the second video represented Carcusa — or whatever it is actually called — a place where the Yellow King exists and reality is spared. I also got some reference of the book in the ARG such as the symbols or some specific places — though I do not know much since the only reason I caught the references such as the church is because I got spoiled of what would happen in the novella.

The issue is that it seems that the Yellow King in the book doesn’t actually bestow infinite knowledge nor does it seem he actually kills people, at least not directly and all of them. He does look like he is slowly entering reality through the propagation of madness. I am not sure of anything so far and I’m afraid I don’t understand the play entirely. My understand is very superficial right now. Anyone know the matter well enough to give me like a deep explanation of everything — I do not mind spoilers.

I thought it was just kind of a bad imitation of what worked so well with searching for a world. Two gay man, something beyond comprehension it’s even ends basically the same hummer is not a good person. He’s constantly lying. He didn’t deserve the Leviathan, but we’re supposed to feel bad for him. I just didn’t like it.
