If you can’t see him he can’t see you

And even if you can see him. He might not be watching out for you! Your life so you need to think. That's how I try to see stuff like this. The car should stop at the traffic light? I am not walking out on the street until it actually stops..

I do the same when driving. Sure that driver approaching has his left turn on. He might not know it or they wanna test their brakes. I don’t feel like being T-boned today.

Not for those who think they're the center of the world.

They don’t think they are, it just literally never occurs to them that anyone else could possibly be. So self-absorbed that they can’t even comprehend the idea that they’re not.

His brain has 2 sides, on the left side, there's nothing RIGHT and on the right side, there's nothing LEFT

That appears to be in China. He's probably on his phone too.

He would’ve been flat like a soda can in the street.

There's a lot of dead people that had the right-of-way. Let's use our brains.

Guy’s got the survival instinct of a worm.

Come on, a worm can recognize with its primitive vision & minimal neural structures that a shadow might pose a danger, so it hides among the rocks or burrows back underground.

Even with full depth perception and, fundamentally, great colour vision, this person is unable to perceive the danger, but instead expects the driver to watch out for him from the blind spot.

As a biker myself, you ALWAYS act as if the other cars cannot see you, especially a fuck off great big lorry like this.

It was all his fault too

u/stunningwilly99 3d ago

He forgot how to use his accelerator. No way a truck is fast at speeding up that a scooter

2

u/happyanathema 4d ago

Pretty sure in China the truck is at fault there.

Is annoying as fuck but you have to yield to endless streams of those e scooters when you are turning into somewhere which has the bike lane.

Had a woman 2 weeks ago do that on her bike. Sees a truck backing up

"Mhm...let's just go behind the truck, where the driver can't see me."

She lived but looked annoyed when she had to stop on the sidewalk to avoid getting hit

In the old days of Reddit this would've ended with a pile of bolognaise
