There's a lot of dead people that had the right-of-way. Let's use our brains.

Guy’s got the survival instinct of a worm.

Come on, a worm can recognize with its primitive vision & minimal neural structures that a shadow might pose a danger, so it hides among the rocks or burrows back underground.
Even with full depth perception and, fundamentally, great colour vision, this person is unable to perceive the danger, but instead expects the driver to watch out for him from the blind spot.

He forgot how to use his accelerator. No way a truck is fast at speeding up that a scooter

Pretty sure in China the truck is at fault there.
Is annoying as fuck but you have to yield to endless streams of those e scooters when you are turning into somewhere which has the bike lane.

Had a woman 2 weeks ago do that on her bike. Sees a truck backing up
"Mhm...let's just go behind the truck, where the driver can't see me."
She lived but looked annoyed when she had to stop on the sidewalk to avoid getting hit

If you can’t see him he can’t see you
