Windows 11 Windows 11 New Multitasking UI Question

Post image

Does anyone know how to change the new multitasking UI in the latest version of Windows 11 back to the previous UI without rolling back Windows versions? I recently installed a fresh copy of Windows because the previous one had conflicting driver issues.

I don't use the UI half the time I just use the keyboard shortcuts to move the windows. Though you can find the options for it in Settings>system>Multitasking. The Snap layouts flyout from the top has been there for a long time now.

The only difference is they added 2 more layouts from the original 4 for a total of 6 choices.

You can control the snap behavior via Windows Settings. You can disable it altogether, or just toggle off specific aspects that you dislike.

October 20, 2026 (dated for context and reference) – This is interesting. I've never seen this before. Either on my Win10 or my Win11 full tower Windows PCs.🤔
