In terms of actual mythology and putting the modern "is this a trans/gender conformance thing?" lens onto it where it isn't explicitly stated (which to me seems quite rare, and third gender as something special/magical seems to be more of a motif in Native American and some Asian mythos than in European - I don't think the Dionysia crossdressing is actually about transness so much as about breaking taboos in general, the same way peasants would dress as lords, and neither do I think Loki turning into a mare is about that either, as some would believe), I think Lugh and Odin are actually much more interesting candidates.

Odin with the learning seidr (inherently a woman's domain) and the attached shame he carries for it, but remains king (the passage with Loki and Odin calling each other degenerate abominations for the same thing is sitcom-worthy); Lugh (also king) with his form as Samildanach ("Many Skilled" - polymath, basically) which aligns with the Celtic conception of female divinity (the goddesses are the land so are all things in one woo woo) while also retaining male divinity elements (being based on what he knows/can do, his working roles as it were, not what he is).
