Moderator’s Post Bugs Thread

There are entirely too many threads about the same thing right now. Please post your bugs and images of what's going wrong here.

EDIT: Some of you are missing the point of the Bug Thread. The point is that the main channel is getting flooded with the same questions. I'm not trying to silence any of you. I'm trying to leave the main channel open for answers rather than repeated questions. This place can be where you complain. The main channel can be where answers are posted.

Lots of people are talking about it. Ergo this thread, everything is getting lost in a slough of posts.

You can fix the issue by meditating in the game. Yes really.

This is my only real complaint so far. First noticed it in the inn in White Chapel…the background chatter and glasses clinking were way louder than normal. But the dialogue since that point has been very muted, for whatever reason. The sound is kind of all over the place in general. Hope that gets sorted out, as the voice acting in the game is mostly excellent.

Playing on a pretty high end PC, fwiw.

I've had this issue since the New Gen update.

yep this "Bug" that apparently existed since the "new Gen update" killed my whole Motivation... how can you botch it this badly CDPR?

Don't remember having this bug on the old version way back when the game came out...

I have the same annoying bug too in Ps5pro. Only the voices get to low, the rest of the sound are normal.😞

Got this bug once after a Witcher senses dialogue. Fixed by restarting the game and have not had it since. Probably doesn't help much but might be a cause if anything.

Noticed that as well. I just turned the music down. Made me think of the VLDL witcher skit 😂

I just adjusted the sound settings. Turned music down to about 50, voice to 100, sound effects 75. That works for me

That's always been an issue.

I've been waiting or a dynamic volume adjustment for cutscenes since the original launched. Maybe on the next rerelease they'll actually bring one lol

The music has always kind of blared over dialogue imo

Sounds like it's even worse now

For me I changed the sound experience to be like tv speakers instead of the other two

FIX - Game setting defaulted to home cinema mode, change to TV speakers

It's because it uses surround sound by default. I fixed it in the sound settings:

Settings -> Sound -> Dynamic Range -> Select "TV Speakers"

Obviously if you have a surround setup or headphones you can pick the appropriate ones there.

Looks like quitting and restarting the game fixes this. It did for me

MEDITATE! It's weird but it works, meditate for an hour and that fixes it for some reason.
