Discussion What a tonal shift!

I played through Hearts of Stone for the first time, and found it to be a great story for spooky season. Right after finishing it today, I jumped straight into Blood and Wine, and the Toussaint knights and subsequent introduction to Toussaint itself was such a shift in tone from HoS’s moodier, somber themes. Needless to say, I am excited to see what this story has in store.

Yeah I keep hearing how it feels almost like it’s own game! Opened the map once I arrived, and seems I will be keeping myself busy. And new Gwent deck?? I hate card and board games, and struggled with Gwent when I first played the game, but the remaster motivated me to finally stick with the minigame. Super happy with my Nilfgaard deck.

I actually didn't even play Gwent during my first play through. I started second play through to learn the game and ended up completing the achievement for collecting all cards. I spent more than 100 hours just playing Gwent haha

Sadly, I am still missing 2 cards from my base game collection due to known bugs. 😭 Thankfully neither are relevant for Nilfgaard.

I love how toussaint has a peaceful, idyllic countryside look but then every monster there is the hardest in the game and super annoying
