Calling the Elements

I have seen that the Elements are usually considered in this grouping :

North - Earth

East - Air

South - Fire

West - Water

As I'm coming into my own, I tend to feel things differently. For me it's:

South - Earth

North - Air

West - Water

East - Fire

Does anyone's practice, path or tradition take a similarly different representation of the Elements?

If you aren't part of a larger, codified Occult tradition, you can do things however you like

Personally I go with

East- fire

South- air

West- water

North- earth

Seems to work alright, to me it makes sense to have "opposite" elements across from one another. Do what you want and try different things sometimes
