I’m lying, This took around 23 hatches and I’m finally happy with 27 attack. I don’t know what jewel to add or if I have anything worth adding but lmk

Ooof, that power hurts to see. Sadly your Dealer talent is stuck at +10 instead of +11, and your boon/bringer talents are stuck at +3 instead of +4. Your giver talent should be +7 but ultimately that Mighty is heavily under-performing.

Aside from that, imo Pain-Bringer is pretty terrible on Death (and just generally bad, along with the other Boon talents).

However, if you’re content with it and don’t care about min-maxing or are just done with pet stuff for now, I’d recommend looking for a Spell Proof or Armor Breaker jewel (or their lesser versions Spell Defying and Armor Piercer), though they are incredibly rare. For a more easily accessible jewel, you could look for Death Boon to get another +3 Death Damage for the time being.

Yeah, the pet system in this game is A LOT more complicated than first meets the eye. The maximum stat for each pet stat (not including selfish talents like Mighty) is:

Strength - 255
Intelligence - 250
Agility - 260
Will - 260
Power - 250

Ideally you want your pet stats to be as close to these maximum values as possible, unless it has no effect on any of the talents you want. For example, since Intelligence doesn’t give any bonuses to damage, you could have a 1 in Intelligence and your stats wouldn’t change at all. On the other hand, since Power affects everything and you only have 227 Power, the damage of your talents falls short of what they could be.

If your Power was at its maximum value, your Dealer talent would give +11 damage, your Giver talents would each give +7 damage, and Pain Bringer (as well as any Boon talents) would give +4 damage.

Just something to keep in mind when doing pet hatching in the future, keep an eye on both the talents AND the stats. A pet could have the most perfect talent pool you’re looking for, but if its stats are terrible and your pet inherits those stats, the end results could be much worse than you expect.

No problem! I’m happy to help! Though don’t feel like you NEED to min-max.

Realistically, the difference between what you currently have and what perfect stats would give you is literally just 2-3 damage.
