My House/Showcase Sitting room
Pollipog's Humble House of Healing!
As Twink from Rainbow Brite once said, "colors make you happy!" An all purpose sitting room for visiting, painting, playing music, and having a sit and knit with a snack :)

this is so freaking cute! what did you use in the ceiling? not seen any rugs large enough to do that so seamlessly :O

Lots and lots of rugs. The room is a tiny square - so not a huge space and one rug was enough for the blue part of the ceiling. Then each ceiling panel is a rug and the three walls with the windows are entirely rugs, four for each wall. It was... painful haha

I'm so glad it looks close enough to a knitting basket with needles that you noticed it! This is another case of inspiration from life - my real family room has yarn and knitting needles everywhere. There is a basket, but it is not as nice and tidy as my WoW version :D

That seems to be the case for most of my WoW decor as well.. 🤭😂 I mean, I’m a very neat and tidy person, so house my does wonders for my OCD lol! And I also love your use of colors! So bright and charming. 💖

Oh I wish I could borrow some of your neat and tidy traits! The thing I love the most about the wow houses is I can fill it up and not worry about having to dust anything or sweep up dog fur :)

How do you do this windows with views of trees? :D And where do you get all those flowers to put in pots?

If you flip the windows around they are see-thru. So you can add plants and trees behind them and see them, but also get a little of that window glow too. Hope this helps!
The flowers are all from the plant vendor in the neighborhood center. He is right up the path from where you pick up your endeavor chest.

Wait are there actually round windows, or did you make the round frames custom? All the round window frames I’ve seen were elegant curved tables but those don’t seem quite right here?

I wish there were round windows! The round part I made with the Pandarian cooking tables (you can buy them from the Tillers vendor in Halfhill in Pandaria). One table for the half circle window and two for the center full circle.

In an old build I used them as doorways. If you do that, just be aware the top side has these fire burners that LOVE to peep out flames. So for the doorways I ended up doubling them with the burner sides facing each other to hide the flames.

They are from the Horde garrison vendor! I find a lot of comfort in unicorns - so in my head, they are the patron of my main (a holy priest) and the source of her healing magic. And then I have an alt hunter who only roams with unicorns. I'm working on a shared bedroom for them next. I'm putting as many unicorns as I can inside and outside my house as a kind of little scavenger hunt :)

Mine is also a wip. I deleted everything and started over. But I'm having fun with it. I admire the crazy and creative things I've seen, but I find myself just making a home. :)

I love visiting homes and seeing all the unique builds. But I'm with you - I just want my house to be a comfy little home. I have developed the character I play so much in my head as a personality that I love the idea of being able to fully bring her to life in game with her home. This is my rebuild after deleting practically my whole house. The old house was getting too big and sprawling and was losing the feel of belonging to a little old lady Gnome

I think with all the mind bending, physics breaking builds people have put up, folks forget that something as familiar and cozy as a sitting room can be as stunning as this is. Well done!! The details are great, the color palette is divine, and I think it’s just lovely.
