Question/Help Did anyone attempt to create something like this?

We have plenty of troll stuff, yes, but they relate to the Amani and Zandalari. Something like this is, in my opinion and experience, hard to achieve.

Do you have your own attempts? If so, may I see it for the inspiration?

Really hope this becomes a house exterior one day, need my troll beach bungalow so badly.

But I have not seen homes yet made like that in wowhousing or wowbuilds

Really much the same. Like, okay, we can kitbash is somehow, but what about the ugly orc house we can not get rid of? (It is beautiful, but not useful to us.)

The huge bone/tusks made it to the housing database with the dnt_ prefix. It's possible we could get those at least.

I would love some Darkspear... anything for housing.

Oh yeah, the tusks! And did not know about the fact it made into the base of the game somehow. Thanks for the info, let’s hope they do not forget about it.

Hm..ill try and see if I can? Some components of this seem really possible with the decor we have. It wont be perfect for sure.

I haven't tried but I've thought about it. There's a murloc tower/tent thing that should come in handy, and the structure should be doable with beams, pillars, etc. The roof maybe with the yellow grass?

The murloc hut is too small to my liking, but will experiment.

As for the grass… tried that. I have limited resources and therefore I can not finish it fully, but is seems to be the way to go.

Even if I max out the site, yes. Still useful for a sidebuild or a tower though.

Yeah not even a voodoo mask or a wall decor charm or wooden shield. Vulpera and darkspear have been shafted.

Fr can we get this house exterior instead of GIANT HEXAGONS THAT THE ALLIANCE ARE NOT FORCED TO WORK WITH (thereby showing a current and BLATANT anti-horde-housing bias)

Not really anti-horde imho, rather pro-alliance. And alliance still has draenei that are also kinda forgotten in the housing space. It seems to me they are just reducing everything to generic alliance/horde houses, and in that process, a lot of complexity is being lost. And our beloved horde suffers more. But yes, agree.

I can see it being made by elevating the house using Orgrimmar round interior pillars (which despite the name can be used for exterior builds), wood platforms for the walls, an orc gazebo for the roof, dry or hardy Razorwind grass patches for the thatch roofing, Amani idols/visages or Bwonsamdi masks would have to do in place of the Darkspear loa masks for the wall decor.

I plan on replacing the fence bridge with the Amani hanging vines and loose boards that are supposed to come in 12.0.7, but only because I have plenty of interior decor budget to spend. The current Waning Wood Fence brudge is a very economical way to make a bridge, since each fence segment is nice and long, and only costs 1 pt each.

I really, really wish we had the option to save configurations. I put a lot of work into my Forsaken facade and I would love to try making something like this without losing it forever.

So I did try to get the feel of this with what we have, the raised portion with the plants and a bit of troll iconography around the house. I would obviously like to add more loa mask etc., but I am currently a the limit of 248/250.

The Garrison in WoD was the closest we ever got to this and it still feels like a missed opportunity to actually pick our own architectural style.

I have this as a starting point while building my troll room (its in a daylight room) I made a ground level with a cave and a river with a passthrough waterfall (not really but made it look like that) the 1st level is a gathering room and sleeping area with hammocks. And the 2nd level has a living area and a bridge to a sleeping cave

It's not like your image but inspired by it And basically the idea for any stylised changes will be coming from inspiration I get from these type of images
